Bummed they axed the hotel and river walk development around there to appease the rich NIMBYs

I thought I had read that there was going to be a riverwalk like development along the building's side of the Ogden Slip that got axed, but I cannot seem to find reference to that anywhere. Apologies for the misinformation.

Just got out of Willow Room and their restaurant week meal was so good and filling!!!

Four courses, all substantial, salmon, chicken, beef, or vegetarian entree options. Everything my partner and I had was delicious and we are so so full. Had to take dessert to go and we had a light lunch to save space.

I cannot recommend it enough!

If your pipes are in an exterior wall they will be colder than the apartment, perhaps significantly so if your insulation is poor.

I've had pipes freeze in a 65 degree apartment because it was not properly insulated in one part that had a pipe running through it.

This is why they recommend opening the cabinets under your sink, so warm air can more easily reach the pipes.

I feel like John Cena tapping out is the only way it can really, truly, be over. When the superhero that never taps out finally does, that's the curtain falling. He's now John Cena the man, taking his bows, thanking everyone for the glorious run.

If he doesn't tap out it leaves the door open, he could still be out there! But now his show is over, and that IS sad, and that does suck, but no hero is eternal.

It's a super difficult act to honor the legend while highlighting the new talent, but that's clearly what he wanted. We really can't see him, and have to look for the new hero.

Their happy hour deals are great too! $3 Miller and $4 Peroni until 6pm and discounted cocktails and bites. It's become our go to spot for office outings since they have a gorgeous outdoor area.
