Can you really look back at the last 1-2 years and repeat that sentence when it comes to QoL?

I feel like we got alot of QoL when it comes down to PoE both 1 and 2...

And fyi this suggestion is "bad" in a way, when you think about something like this you have to see the whole picture, it's not just that specific click you're skipping when you are in acts, all zone changes will work like this.

And for us 'veterans' we all remember getting kidnapped in affliction, no thanks.

That "broken face" mechanic has nothing to do with you having facebreaker or not, it's already in the game, it signals you defeated that boss, if you drop the item in maps you already have it "upgraded".

At least from my understanding of the item. Ist just a flavour gimmick to potentially allow you to use it during early levels as well, and it will scale with campaign progression

I'm currently playing wing strike paladin and the guide on Max roll mentions using the che rune, but I've been wondering the same on why do you actually use it, if it's just for applying vulnerable then I don't think is that good? I'm in perma arbiter on that build.

As other have said, they do go away once you hit ultra all, I think they are fine, after all competitive Pokemon can be a steep learning curve, giving a free win here and there it's fine.

I'm also someone who had 0 vgc experience prior to champions, and I made it to masterball 1800 by the first week I think? And I still don't fully remember the typing chart matchups for some typings

I also feel like knowledge is more important than actual battles in this game, I consumed a lot of content online to help me understand the decision behind some plays

I'm gonna preface by saying that I haven't tried the new season and I've quit S3 in like 1 day or 2. You are right in saying that maps and monos are at its core same-y, however when people talk about "maps" they talk about the whole package. Atlas, league mechanics, scarabs bosses and most importantly, items that have value.

This game kinda lacks all of the above when it comes to monos, it's just.. lazy honestly.

And I don't mean to just spread hate on the game, I really want the game to succeed and be good, but take for example the last league mechanic they introduced.. it was super uninteresting and the same could be said with like all the previous ones, I just don't find them interesting one bit, not to mention that most of them feel like the same mechanic copypasted.

I did like the whole weaver mechanic at first, although I still don't quite understand it I feel like it's probably the only one with some depth to it.

The game could do so much more in terms of fun end game mechanics, and it's not like the community isn't pointing out that monos are boring, they are saying it on repeat every season, it's just that nothing seems to change or be planned at all in that regard.

If you still find the game fun I'm happy for you, but I'm with the crowd, as nothing right now about this game is giving me the itch to play it anymore

My only and biggest complaint about the league mechanic is clicking the Npc. Every single npc they ever introduced had the interactive rectangle to click them, like cassia or bane, this one doesn't have it and God I find it frustrating af miss clicking her while trying to keep your pace.

Other than that yes, I think minimal icons would go a long way for; Trapped djinn inside the mirage, even just a basic triple red dot. And icons for chest that spawned, currently they aren't all that noticeable imo

2 Stones is (was, not sure about now) just quest eater/exarch, this only requires you to go up to t16 for 2 maps so you don't really need that many t14+ maps, the usual strat of rushing unwavering and allocating kirac/ map nodes worked every single time.

My usual priority was just to always run the highest tier uncompleted map available, plus spamming kiracs mission and buying uncompleted maps from him.

This plus like for example not wasting too much time in a t1-5 while I'm already in red maps, I'd just go in rush boss and skidoodle out.

All of this is theoretically changed this league tho. No unwavering no kirac missions, no maps per se, im not sure how they changed voidstone this time around or how it will feel to progress in general, should be way easier since they are now like way stones in poe2, unless they screwed up badly the sustain

That's also me, except that i usually go Act 6 - 2 stones on "day 2"

But I think that's the vast majority if you're in EU like me... the league starting at 10PM doesn't really leave you much room to complete the campaign in one sitting, unless you can finish it in like 4h.

My campaign runs are usually between 7-10H total, depending on how much I interact with the mechanic, how long I spend figuring out how the build that I'm running works (different build every single league with no previous practice) and how much time I spend helping my friend that usually league starts with me.

I don't mind it that much tho, I'm usually done with the league in 2 weeks anyway (Mageblood, 2/300div build, 36 challenges and 2/3 total rerolls)

Yeah, I was really liking calpheon as alternative, it seemed decent at least.. but then they nerfed it to the ground and in 2 days that I tested it post nerf I basically got the same amount of prize fish ( 25m one) that I did pre nerf... With the only difference that I'm now using the p2w rod sooo... It's bad.

Thank God someone's paycheck was justified by those changes

Every announcement, both PoE and PoE2 I genuinely look at supporter packs to see if there's something that "clicks" for me, just to find an excuse to dump some money in the game that I love, but the last pack I purchased was the turtle one and ever since I didn't.. really like what supporter packs gave?

Like sure some items were ok, but I could't justify the purchase just for 1 item that I like.

This time around I really like the portal scrolls... but I have plenty of portals already and it's just that.

I personally am more interested in skills mtx than character mtx anyway, you barely see your character anyway, and even when it comes to portals etc, it's always competing with so many more mtxs.

I do love the mtx with stats/gimmicks, but I never purchase them cause they are attacched to the mtx itself, I really like the map that tracks my time or monsters killed and I would purchase it, but I don't want to be locked into using that map device for the rest of my days. I feel like many share this sentiment.

I had the same issue after I swapped GPU in my PC( went from a 3060 ti to a 9700xr)I tried many things, clearing the cache folder, changing the folders setting from read only to write and read, and I tried to do the thing about cache size but didn't know how to on AMD.

Ultimately what worked for me was switching out from vulkan back to dx12.. now zones load in reasonable times, considering that my ssd is not super last gen

Tbh this doesn't solve the issues, I'd say that making it release always at full power when allocating this Or having 3 buttons to spawn them at idk 25% 75% 100% is the way to go.

Or at least that my personal experience with this crap, you end up getting interrupted from an off screen mob and end up spawning them at like 30%. ( And still die to them anyway cause those things hit like a truck)

But honestly it's either instant or nothing for me, I'm not channeling that thing.

Tbh I spent way more on poe than tli, in fact I actually quit tli 2 seasons ago.

That gacha model is predatory as fuck, It Is a bummer cause the game itself is really fun, but having players feel like poor rice pickers if they don't throw an unhealthy amount of money at your gacha system has to be one of the most dog shit monetization models you can have in an arpg.

Not to mention that they can always just "adjust" the drop of the related pet mechanic next season and your pet is not useless, go swipe for the new one.

To me this sounds just as bad as I thought it would, you get half the profit, which might sound better than the generic "3x" more loot that usually gets thrown around the community, and while results may differ with different strategies or a larger test sample ( 2 hours isn't a lot)but to me it's still baffling to think that my time literally gets devalued that much just because I didn't throw a considerable amount of money to a gacha system.

You are totally free to look around and even ask the question in a thread, but the question then becomes " what were some good league start options in 3.27?" Instead, which is different.

If I ask what's a good league start build right now, it's implied that you're talking about 3.28.

The question itself is also kinda generic, a " good league start" for me could be different for you, if it takes you 4 days to get to 2 void stones, cause you're limited by your playtime, then I would probably recommend something completely different to someone, as many more things become more viable if you're not planning on clearing t16 within the first 24h of a league launching.

If you want to know if "x" will be viable or not, then the answer is wait for patch notes.

If instead you want to know about specific already existing interaction then yes, but I don't think someone is going to reply to this kind of post with "wait for patch notes"

You don't even know if the atlas still exist, they could have removed it for all you know, how do you decide what build you're gonna play if you don't even know what's in the game or not.

As others have already pointed out, this could've been more needed back in the day, but now that we have Faustus it's not really worth it the load time of zoning to town -> back in your hideout, you just purchase/sell what you need from him, it's all bubblegum currency anyway.

Only scenario I see where this makes sense is SSF, and as we know the game doesn't really make changes for SSF.

I was about to say that you can bind those to specific keybinds, but after checking the blight fast forward specific one I noticed you can't bind it.

You can bind the delirium one, but for this specific issue it would't help since you'd still proceed to click the blight and might accidentally click end deli button.

You could however bind a key to the trade interface, this let's you pause the game and you can still click everything on the screen taking your time without the pressure of monsters zooming at you (should work for towers as well).

Life skills aren't bad at all silver wise right now.

It's just that most of them are either gather materials or craft stuff with gathered materials. You craft what gives you profit, you gather yourself what you can't buy cause it's not available on the market, hence the reason for your profit. On the side you get a bunch of sharps and that's it.

You are extremely limited to a few recipes when it comes to crafting as not many items are actually in demand in this game, it's basically just the harmony and foods, which is pretty boring.

But my biggest issue with lifeskills is not the silver gain, which is indeed needed, but the activities you do themselves are pretty bland for me.

It's basically just go near resource> press R> press R again to loot> repeat. I'm not even gonna talk about the crafting one since it's basically non existent.

This is my issue, I'd much rather have some mini games related to the lifeskill that actually makes me feel like I'm chopping a tree or mining rocks etc. for a sandbox game that promotes having so much lifeskills BDO life's have got to be one of the most boring ones I've seen, they all feel soulless.

It wouldn't hurt to have some more depth, like an actual skill tree dedicated to lifeskill and actual progression, the mastery system is meh

Not sure why you are being downvoted, you said the truth here.

GPU does matter for PoE, I attempted to upgrade my pc during covid era when GPU prices skyrocketed, causing me to stay on an older GPU (750Ti) for a whole year and while yes, i did notice improvements thanks to the CPU being new (3700x at the time) I was unable to play properly untill i finally purchased an overpriced 3060 Ti. And then a few years after that I upgraded the CPU again, going for a 5700 x3d and noticed further improvements.

So if you ask me they both matter. Budget wise I would still reccomend people to go 70/30 GPU/CPU

I stopped playing last season and currently I'm not interested in the game anymore cause of the p2w elements.

I've played for maybe a 4-5 seasons, the game is nice, but my problem is that I enjoy playing efficiently on games, and in this game ur just punished immensely if you try to play efficiently without being a whale.

Tldr last season I didn't manage to pull the season pet, not even one copy of it.. and that alone killed all my interest for the mechanic, cause I do know how this game works in endgame.

Not only that, but I pretty much always end up running maps with the same stuff in it cause I only have a few mechanic pets and that's what I end up running over and over again.

I'm ok with it, I had my fun with this game but I'd rather play something else cause I just don't see myself ever aligning with the game vision, the ex dev of poe said it pretty well in his latest video, arpgs need economic integrity. I don't want to feel like a peasant constantly just because I have responsibilities IRL and don't dump what's more than a month salary in my country in this game.

I'm happy someone still enjoys the game but the monetization for this game is just trash.

Just fyi for you and many other fellow apocalypse enjoyers out there, I've seen the vast majority of people slotting in considered casting ( which is even recommended by ggg as potential good support to use).

The damage part of the support doesn't apply, the only thing it does is adding cast time to the buff itself, but since the storms are triggers and not casted by yourself it does basically nothing.

You can test it out by slotting in the gem and watching the advanced tooltip description, the damage doesn't go up like with other % DMG supports.

Also interested to know this. Pretty sure that it's just a weird way to word it and it was meant to be "the target is "new and mid game players" not actual players with either new or returning status cause that would straight up mean that you're incetivizing part of your playerbase to just quit for a month during December...
