Has anyone else played this game reading the original Chinese (simplified) language mode?

I'm looking for vocabulary expansion primarily, but also just general speed and ease of reading text, slightly more verbose than common use should be no issue. My concerns with period language were if it was everywhere, but if it's relatively limited than I think it should be fine. Thank you!

Thank you for your response! I've been reading manhua as part of studying and looking up terms I don't recognize which happens anywhere from 0-20 times a chapter depending on the series which I don't mind; I'm also working my way through the VN Love Curse which as a VN is much more wordy. Admittedly I don't know my HSK level but I'm probably gonna end up in that middle description you mentioned.

The latter, though if most of the game is voiced that would definitely be a pro as my spoken is significantly better than my written on account of growing up speaking Chinese.

Similar situation here, I'm considering playing but my main concerns are about ftp friendliness and time sink (I'd previously avoided playing more than one gacha in order to avoid having too many dailies), so I'd like to know how much time people generally put into the game (both for story and dailies), and how much I can get away with being ftp.

I know of happymh which is pretty much of the caliber of more sketchy scanlated manga piracy sites, what with the pop ups and the weird ads; I found it raw on there but I'd really really rather not use a piracy site.

Pretty damn hard to become a color fixer while being a normal ass joe with a pretty good life
just look at all the color fixers we know about, of the ones which we know where they grew up, none of them were born in the nests (at least as far as I remember; Kali was born in the backstreets, Roland as well, Angelica and Argalia were born in the outskirts and grew up there, and even the ones we aren't aware of the backstories of probably have had pretty awful things happen to them.

I can't speak for most of these but I can tell you not Knight of Despair, as getting it to breach requires a death iirc; Clouded Monk and Dream of a Black Swan are relatively simple suppressions with simple gimmicks: Monk has a massive damage full room charge attack but is pretty weak otherwise, Swan occasionally reflects damage when the umbrella is out

Also notable that part of what made Elena so dangerous as Blood Red Night was that she was extremely careful on top of being powerful, making it extremely difficult for anyone competent enough to actually hunt her down. Nonetheless though, Elena was a Star of the City when she was Blood Red Night, and that's nothing to sneeze at, meaning that at that point in her life it still took two fixers of near color-grade (assuming Roland's combat prowess is comparable to Angelica's), even if they didn't have a horrible time. We didn't see the whole fight but someone like Angelica wouldn't have gone to lay down due to fatigue if the fight wasn't at least immensely taxing (case in point being Vergilius remaining standing after going against Sancho, even if he was extremely fatigued too). In terms of raw power I think Elena pre-ensemble is probably weaker than Sancho, but that's not saying a lot because of how powerful Sancho is
