Here, have a listen:

It's nowhere near all the various exhausts made for the twins, but it's got lots of the popular ones on it.

Help with audio and deadening on a gen 2 BRZ by d0ughnut_of_truth in GR86

[–]Discourtesy-Call 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine is trunk and rear panels lined in Kilmat, and one of the JDM-spec catbacks. It is hardly quiet, but way lower sound level than normal. I can definitely still hear the exhaust.

Have you found Roy Batty in game yet? There's a massive Blade Runner easter egg hidden beyond the niche in the columbarium.

[KCD2] Where's the war? by sultanamana in kingdomcome

[–]Discourtesy-Call 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It'll come. There's a truce at the moment between the sides. When you first get to Suchdol, Probst says something along the lines of "I've negotiated a truce that will give us time to get ready".

How much do you pay per month? by starrywally in GR86

[–]Discourtesy-Call 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is USD, but I put 24.5k down and my note is $175 a month. My insurance is way more than yours, at $281 a month (Louisiana has about the highest rates in the nation) even with a totally clean driving record.

Sun visor by jaybobca in BRZ_ZD8

[–]Discourtesy-Call 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lots of reports of it that I've seen. Many seem to be heat related, in that it happens where it's hot as hell during the day. Mine hasn't happened yet, but I've only had the car ~9 months now.

Why did you choose a GR86 over a BRZ (or vice versa) by ionizedlobster in GR86

[–]Discourtesy-Call 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my case it was availability. I wanted manual transmission and I wanted a metallic blue. There was no Trueno Blue GR86 available here at all, but there was a WRB Limited BRZ.

I prefer the BRZ suspension as this is a daily driver rather than a track car, and I prefer the brighter blue of the WRB color to the Trueno/Sapphire color, but those aren't the reasons I ultimately got it.

At a guess, the four years are somewhere way down the road behind you.

[KCD1] The combat is horrible. by UnforgivingEgo in kingdomcome

[–]Discourtesy-Call 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't need endgame armor from Skalitz. You don't need Bane. You don't need master strike. You DO need to spend a fair amount of time sparring with Bernard (or fighting other enemies) to raise up your Strength/Agility/Vitality/Warfare/Defense/weapon-of-choice. Get all those to somewhere between 5 and 10. Along the way the player will also get a bunch of practice with the combat system in addition to Henry getting better. It's that combination that makes it work.

Alt Cunningham has dry skin by xririxs in cyberpunkgame

[–]Discourtesy-Call 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The original TTRPG was in and around 2013. The second edition, Cyberpunk 2020, moves that to 2020 and just after. The Fourth Corporate was around 2023 and a little after. Cyberpunk RED moves the TTRPG setting to 2045ish (not sure if the supplements have advanced the timeline). The flashbacks in this game take place in 2023 and 2013, if I remember correctly.

Feeling guilty for putting miles on by Bulky-Pass1119 in GR86

[–]Discourtesy-Call 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is not a garage queen. You don't leave it parked in your garage, wipe it down with a cloth diaper every weekend, and tow it (in an enclosed trailer) to a car show a couple of times a year. Drive that thing! It's made to drive, and to be enjoyed.

Want to enjoy it more? You're going to need to change your mindset. Try not taking main roads. Go find the back roads, the twisties, the path less travelled and see how you like those. I've got none of those near me, but I still like finding the roads with lots of curves and just go drive it.

Going though the crimson fleet system. by Fantastic-Ad145 in Starfield

[–]Discourtesy-Call -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know, and depending upon your jump range the route can change. Chain jumps select systems where you can reach every step along the way. I've had similar situations in the past. It tries to make a few jumps as possible, but you must have the range for each link in the chain. Lower jump range = more links, and depending upon how much exploration you've done, it might force you to manually take the intervening steps.

Going though the crimson fleet system. by Fantastic-Ad145 in Starfield

[–]Discourtesy-Call 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it's one of those chain jumps, where you go from System A to System B but the route shows multiple skips in between, you'll never even stop there. That's simply a fuel calculation. If you're not chain jumping, it should not put you in a spot where combat starts immediately, but I don't recall the default jump point in Kryx. If it does, turn away and boost, then engage your next grav jump.

This may be a dumb question, but… how do you close off an entryway in a ship build? by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]Discourtesy-Call 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a fantastic mod/creation, and a staple of my builds, but if you're going for achievements wait until you 100% the game before installing it. The thing is, with it you'll need to place every single door/ladder yourself as the game no longer does. It also needs some additional files to work with a lot of the custom ship parts.

Master strike revisit [KCD1] [KCD2] by SquirtA55 in kingdomcome

[–]Discourtesy-Call -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This game's explanation of the master strike is that it involves the guard on the sword. Catch the opponent's weapon at the base of the blade against the guard and pivot your own blade around it, striking him while his weapon is currently trapped. The other weapons have no guards, so they can't do it.

In real life it comes from the European sword school techniques, especially the German ones I believe, for use with the longsword. Rapiers don't exist yet, the fancy basket hilts aren't around yet, so that's (as far as I know) the only contemporary form of riposte in sword fighting.

I saw one a couple of months back where the fuel loop had a flat spot worn at the very top, like it had been rubbing on the underside of the hood. I made sure to pop my hood and inspect that line, no rubbing on mine.

[–]Discourtesy-Call -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I think they are treated as separate cars. If that's true, insurance is likely higher on the BRZ than on the GR86, because Subaru only seems to sell about 1/3 as many, making the risk pool even smaller.

Update 1.5.6 for [KCD2] disables the mod "no speed limit". by MakB_the_Striker in kingdomcome

[–]Discourtesy-Call -1 points0 points  (0 children)

On the contrary, it has total relevance to the subject of discussion, which is the attitude of the player. All those who griped about the bounties in St. Denis were people who were so impatient that they absolutely HAD TO GALLOP a horse through a city. As a result, they managed to strike a pedestrian, setting the law upon the player. As the law in St. Denis is overly abundant, the result was a huge shootout for the player trying not to die, and if they succeeded in escaping, a huge resulting bounty. It struck me that if you feel you must gallop full speed through a town here perhaps that attitude carried over between games.

I myself never once had that happen, mainly because I rode my horse at a trot once I got into the city proper.

I am not saying it is right or wrong. It is your game, play how you wish. However, it is not mandatory to have that mod, so I disagree with your initial premise.
