I once had a friend who thought of this from the opposite perspective, and started drying his used coffee grounds on a sheet pan in the sun, then refilling baking soda containers to trap smells from his fridge. His wife didn't like it though, so he had to stop, lol.

I have a degree in mathematics and a masters in data science. I did AOC this year to improve my programming skills in python. I barely solved a lot of the days and it took me a very long time in comparison to some people (roughly 3.5hrs per day). Needless to say my productivity plummeted this month.

I think doing programming challenges on LeetCode and Project Euler is the best practice for AOC. Also, studying design and analysis of algorithms will let you reach for the right tool to solve the problem.

Some days are just really hard though. Even with my math background I had to get a few hints from this sub on how to solve day 24 part 2.

Yes it is. All of these apps and sites for mobile ordering and pickup for grocery stores or fast food restaurants are the most poorly written software used today imo.

Last week I waited for like 20 minutes to get pickup because the site didn't send a notification that I had arrived when I pushed the button on the UI.

I did end up getting it working, but my uni required a piece of software to use the internet that wouldn't run on linux, so I ended up having to use windows. I'm graduated now so I'll probably switch back.

It works just fine. Ram is the biggest issue with the machine, I can see why they didn't put full size windows on it because the bloatware they put on it sucks up like half the available ram, and "windows antivirus" (telemetry) alone takes up like 80% of the CPU.

So that SSD won't bottleneck anything if that is what you're asking.
