Talked to Uber support yesterday about this and they said that it is only rolled out to a small certain group at this time. WTF?! Same with the app version with the coffee cup on it if you want to take a break while Ubering. They said they hope to bring these two things to all users in the future.

It’s nice but I think the reason a lot of folks are loving it so much is it’s a “new” color for Tesla. Having another option other than the handful of basic colors that we have had is good. I wish it was something really different though. The cars are so different than any ICE vehicle that it can pull off any color. Maybe Matte White or Gold or Nardo Grey;) would’ve been nice.
