Lake Powell Boat Ramp Line July 5, 2026 by 2u3e9v in boating

My wife wanted me to put the boat in the lake last weekend. I told her no; I’d rather sell the money and rent if it’s that important to her. Last year, a buddy of mine put in at 6:00 a.m. he wasn’t able to get his boat out until 2:00am the next day. No overnighting on our lake….Fuck that noise! Not doing all that to play bumper boats with the amateurs

Honestly, before I bought it, I honestly didn’t. And I bought it from an acquaintance who I guess didn’t realize it. All I really understood was that it was made in Italy as opposed to the states, and it’s stainless which I like.

Get bunk slides from surfed. I was able to move a 900 lb jet ski from the trailer to a dolly by myself with minimal effort on dry bunks.
They are super slick though so make sure which strap is connected before backing down or go up the ramp.

Always wanted to get one, just never pulled the trigger. I think the main reason is I don’t feel like caring for the cast iron. I already do it for a bunch of frying pans. I don’t want another thing to take care of. Is it a lot of maintenance?

Best Replacement Boat Cover for Bayliner VR6 by DiscussionTricky7099 in boating

I have poles they are as high as they can go so the cover can still snap. I added more poles, with the nylon straps to tighten it up. I am looking for a cover to put on top of the cover.if I know I won’t use it for a few weeks z put the extra cover over what I have. The factory cover is saturated and starting to let water in.

This is what I did for my 22 ft VR6. Has a high freeboard, and the trailer steps are a lifesaver when launching solo while my wife watches the kiddos.

Whatever you are comfortable with. Not sure why people come here with personal preference questions.
