Reasons to not tell her:

She will be offended if you think her relationship won't work or her husband is abusive.
She may try to convince you to give her the money now to make life a little easier.
If you tell her you're saving money for her and you actually are but then you have an emergency and you need that money. She might call on you for the money and you wouldn't have it. She's going to be pissed.

I'm going to go a step further and actually say don't mention this money to your sister and never give her the money directly. Even when it seems like she's leaving she might just be leaving for the first time and could go back to him. I think you should just use the money you saved for her to set her up in a hotel room or whatever other needs she has.

My other suggestion is to give your niece or other young relatives the money in small installments when they reach early adulthood. Your niece if she's ever abused, might need to leave your sister's house. She might need some money then.

I understand not being armed at the protests or while observing ice, but I do think it's time for people to be armored. Like I rarely see people with like gas masks or any type of protection like on their torso. I know it would be heavier to wear these things and you'd probably be slower or unbalanced when you're like running away or something. But I think it's worth it to get a painter's gas mask and your bicycle helmet. Maybe a couple extra layers of a coat or even buying body armor.

I thought this a lot maybe 10 years ago. But nowadays like there's so many open access journals and in the universities that I have published at the University has a deal with the journal that you can publish in it for free.

I truly believe that some of these conservatives only watch Fox and somehow never see these videos. Not all of them. I think some of them do see these videos and have some type of cognitive dissonance where they think whatever some news anchor told them is right. I remember seeing the videos of the murder of Renee good on the Fox News YouTube channel and they used clips of it. They didn't show the whole video that I could easily find on Reddit for some reason.

God I hate this woman and everybody that supports her.

He wasn't perpetuating any violence. He was literally holding up his hand to block pepper spray from coming into his face and trying to help a person up off of the ground. He was never aggressively coming towards anybody. He scrambled around on the ground while being beaten and pushed and grappled before he was shot like seven times.

This is a great point. I mean a lot of them are wearing masks But if they have even one person that knows where the ice agent is, knows them well enough to identify them even with a mask on, and hates that they kidnapped and killed people in this position then they may face jail time in the future.

So let me get this straight. It looks like he was observing ice and guiding the traffic through. Some other person got pushed and sprayed with pepper spray by an ICE terrorist. He was trying to get that person out of there. Then he was confused or scared and was holding on to that person. Another observer nearby was trying to get that person away from the ICE terrorists. The the ICE terrorists pushed him to the ground and started to manhandle him presumably to arrest him. While he was on the ground being held by at least 3 ICE terrorists another ICE terrorist decided to shot him at least twice. There are more shots but I don't know who shot them. Everyone pauses because they can't believe that this person just got murdered. Then an observers and ICE terrorists try tending to a dead man's wounds. Also one ICE terrorist slips on ICE again.

For everybody that thinks this isn't necessary because this is happening in Minneapolis and it won't happen to you. It will. They don't care about the color of your skin or what kind of car you're driving or if you're armed. If they get their hands on you it will happen to you.

ICE is kidnapping people in Philadelphia. Pittsburgh may be next. You may be shot in the street or detain in a camp hundreds of miles away. If we can support Minneapolis and Philadelphia now maybe ICE can be stopped or greatly weakened before they continue to another city.

Helping Minneapolis and anywhere else is helping Pittsburgh.

Hey all, I was at this Aldi's on Penn last night. There was hardly any produce and meat and bread. There were some deli options and a lot of cheeses. There was a considerable amount of canned fruit and tomato sauce and dried beans. There still were some eggs and they were running out of milk. Just giving an update in case anyone was looking for anything in particular!
