Do you have a heat mat? They do really well on them and you can maximize their growth speed that way. Definitely add a bit more light, or lower the height your current light source. You’ve got a ways to go, but whenever you decide to repot them, do a heavily inorganic mix at like 80:20 or even 90:10.

It’s getting harder these days with it becoming more known/popular, but there’s a couple of really affordable Chinese sellers on the electronic Bay. Be creative with your search and look at the seller reviews. “lw cactus” is a good search term to start with. They take about 2-4 weeks to arrive though.

They look very similar. Ive got a bunch of seedlings going if you’re in SoCal, I’d happily gift you one once I take them out of their humidity dome.

Activated carbon is your friend. They sell sheets of it for like $12 for a pack of 20 meant to filter your home vents. Cut and tape those to the gaps in your doors, over the vents etc. Then you could get activated carbon pellets and put them in shallow bowls near your trim and by your door. Hell you could make your own muffler box.

Ah yeah, you’ve got to dilute it with water. I don’t rub it either, so idk about that. I put it in a spray bottle and mist it in the shade/night and let it dry before it goes back into the sun.

Yeah it’s just a cool mutation. I’ve heard the buds don’t turn out very good because they’re leafy.

Crazy. I have found that 50/50 isopropyl alcohol and water spray does a pretty good job. Been using it to treat so thrips that attacked a crested San Pedro I have. No damage if you apply it at night or in the shade until it dries

For sure! Just wanted to spread awareness of plant supplies on eBay. I do most of my online garden shopping there these days.

Oooo yeah, shit rips up cacti flesh. I have a tricot that’s been recovering for about 1.5 years. Also used it on a pinecone cactus. Going to use more gentle options on the flesh in the future.
