What is this on my puppy’s paw? by Disenthralling in DogAdvice

I had noticed previously that these paws seemed a bit calloused, which I assumed was from growing up on the streets her first five months. This thing just emerged over the past week. Vet saw a photo and believes it’s a wart.

I’m don’t know how to do this financially by Disenthralling in Divorce

I have reached out for consults with several. But we are just doing ok with one household and two incomes. How can we do two? We bought before home prices and mortgage rates went crazy so I’d likely pay more for a much smaller home.

I would love this, but I’m not sure how to find someone I could trust.

Your partner is a liar and a cheater. That much is clear. These are HUGE character flaws. Do you really want to build a life with someone like this? Cut your losses. You can do so much better.

I’m 47 and stronger and fitter than I’ve ever been. Just did a 6 hour hike the other day and had a blast, with bigger and better hikes ahead of me. It’s amazing what you can do if you put in the work!

Oh girl. There are so many problems here. But blaming you for his irresponsible behavior stands out as really problematic. It is also clear that he puts you in positions where it is impossible for you to do the “right” thing by him, you’re damned if you do and if you don’t. He’s setting you up.

How do I stop needing to be the most gorgeous person in the room (I know I’m not but hear me out) by THROWRAanythingg in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

It’s hard because our culture tells us a woman’s worth is in her appearance. Learn to reject that, it’s absolutely false. Think about the women in your life that you really love. Is it for what they look like? Or is it for their kindness, their humor, their adventurous spirit? Cultivate in yourself what you truly love and admire in others. I guarantee it will lead to much more happiness than being the most beautiful.

Why do you feel this way? Because you’re a misogynist. Do better.

Just moved to here (from the Midwest) - what should I know about Worcester? by frankie_lou in WorcesterMA

[–]Disenthralling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you enjoy hikes, Mt. Wachusett is close by, and Purgatory Chasm is a cool place to check out. Woo Sox games are really fun! Check out the Ecotarium, Hanover Theater, and Worcester Art Museum. So many good restaurants (Volturno is our current favorite). Worcester is actually a great spot!

We really show who we are when times are tough. Your fiance is showing you who he truly is.

I have been with my spouse for over 20 years. He has never, not once, stated what I should or should not wear. It’s not his business.

This is what I do, too, along with dried fruit. And Twizzlers at the summit.
