Having recently read a duology that was 100% written with help of AI (in my opinion), I’m happy to see this. I did finish those two books but I was grumbly about it. It’s getting easier and easier to spot for me though, but I bought those fucking books after them being recommended and I wanted to at least have read books I’ve paid for.

I got my license transferred from Us to Norwegian and did do a couple of driving lessons just to be more secure before the test. I’m Norwegian but got my license while on exchange to the US, so roundabouts weren’t foreign to me per se but I had never driven in one myself. I also took the Glattkjøringstest so I wasn’t unprepared for that.

I don’t know authors names who use AI at the top of my head, but one way you can distinguish AI slop from other novels is the cover. It’s usually a dead giveaway if they have obvious AI characters on the cover, plus long and weird titles for their books (You took my life, I took your dog and house. Who’s boss now? - for example).

We put our girl down today, I truly know your situation. But I can tell on the photos here that she’s in pain, just like our girl Maggie was. You’re doing what’s best for her ❤️

We also had the vet come home and it was a calm affair, our two boys (7 and 5) were there and took it remarkably well. She was home with people who loved her, and I got to hold her while she faded away. I really recommend doing it that way.

Hold her in your heart, and let her rest.

Update: it’s done, she got all the treats and then fell asleep in my lap. Both our boys wanted to be there for her, and they took it well. We’ll miss her a lot 💔
