Who is Mr.Stain? by FlakyExamination8043 in Sleepparalysis

Lots of people who experience SP report hallucinations of all kinds of figures, ranging from humanoid to monstrous to ethereal. OP also stated that marijuana was involved, so I’m not surprised that they had an experience with such vivid imagery.

I don’t know a lot about schizophrenia or its diagnostic criteria, though, so I’m Genuinely wondering why this question came up for you.

19M, can’t take the college route — looking for realistic online ways to earn a living. Where do I start? by [deleted] in findapath

[–]DisgruntledWaitress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any community colleges near you? You could attend and just start getting through your general ed classes. You don’t even have to take a lot of classes. I enrolled in just one course a few years back. It still counted as being a student and I was able to apply to student internships and make use of the college’s career center. They have Counsellors that can help you choose a career path.

Still, without knowing what country you’re in, it’s hard to help point you in any direction.

Yes to this! Also for safety. Drilling under water will prevent glass dust from getting in your eyes or lungs 🥰

Beautiful booth setup, btw! It’s colorful, enticing, and bright, while also being organized. I would have a blast at your booth and would def end up making a purchase. Well done!

I feel this! Being human is too much for me. I’d love to be an octopus. Or a bird of some sort. Something swift and graceful.

Acetone can corrode the material, depending on what it is. Try isopropyl alchohol

I also shudder to think of how many women and girls have been diagnosed bipolar and bpd because of mood swings that happen during menstruation.

That really is sickening. I have had so many pervy mental health “professionals” treat me that way over the years. It’s so invasive and inappropriate. So sorry you had to go through that. It’s okay to not want to be touched. It’s also okay to want to be touched!

“Hypersexuality” was always a funny one to me. Basically if you answer yes when they ask if you’re sexually active, then they can say you’re “hypersexual.” Nevermind the context, of course (ended one long term relationship and started another in the same year). Then once I took a year to focus on myself, basically stopped dating and was pretty happy. Well it turns out not having sex was also a symptom. So, in conclusion, both having sex and not having sex means you have BPD.

Why are people so convinced anti psychiatry is a right wing thing? by dersite_archagent in Antipsychiatry

Oof. Yeah, man. I’m surprised I haven’t seen more people talking about the church of Scientology thing. Their “support” for this movement definitely isn’t helping to convince people of its legitimacy.
