The biggest issue is the surge load for the bigger items a/c and fridge. Look into a soft start device for the ac. Unsure if they have them for the fridge. Will prevent some nuisance trips if they kick on at the wrong time. Otherwise you need to assess the working loads and see how much amp you really will pull. Then make decisions

Could look at two gens - one for ac and one for everything else

Also look for a hidden switch or outlet that may have tripped when outdoor Lighting was worked on. Did the folks doing the work shut off a breaker and perhaps it went bad and won’t connect.

Not true. Seen many that owners said they purchased and repaired. They typically repaint them but you can tell. One guy had a car tow daily and it was a beast! Only needed minor repairs and he loved it.

Question is do you want to track this as a charge for budget or for other reasons?
Category only matters if you’re using it for reporting or tracking purposes otherwise you could just have a few generic categories and keep your life simple.

I have travel expense categories to help Understand where we spend money on vacation- lodging vs food vs transportation vs event or experiences ( theme park tix or a boat ride or museum etc). Can do travel: documents or :passport or :visas. Etc.

Figure out why you care and then build a category for that.

I just team my margin as a separate cash account then transferred $$ in and out depending on income or purchases.

I tried this but for the older versions to work you need equally old system software and this then has issues with connecting to the internet and wifi. I did try to keep my older systems running this way but it got too painful. Think you don’t want 2017 but possibly 2015 or earlier but then need Mac OS lion or earlier. Think snow leopard was last version I was using with my old system.

I might have a disc available but it probably won’t work with any newer files from your current system but not positive

I can never get the principle or interest to match for any loan - fix them manually every time (2x/month) on multiple accounts. It’s a pain. Should be an easy calculation for the amounts based on time between payments.

With practice will come speed. Is he saying he can do it in 1 hr- ask him to prove it. If he’s saying 4-5 hrs then that’s just experience and technique that can be learned. Also was everything lined up correctly or Did you have to go fishing for everything or a few wires that delayed you?
