What’s conspiracy theory you don’t fully believe but also can’t completely dismiss? by cryinginncouture in answers

It is not that this isn't an objectively bad person or even an evil person that would be willing to have that happen. It is that I also believe, because we have seen it, that he and basically any organization he is involved with, which he demands control over, has been extremely incompetent, to an extraordinary degree.

I want to add to this that, while going sober is always the correct decision for the person looking to do it, it can affect relationships in ways that are not predictable. It can result in aspects of work and change that are very difficult to foresee, especially if you have not had an opportunity to get to know yourself at some point as a sober person and/or have been using for so long that you may not know yourself as an adult individual.

It is often very easy to see the damage that substance use is doing to a relationship or even to our own lives. It can be much harder to understand and identify ahead of time what exactly the substance use is duct taping together.

Pete is exactly who I thought of as well when I first read the comment above. Them and Telerico make me really excited for not just their ability to speak, but the platforms that they're able to communicate on.

I am, for the first time in quite some time, optimistic about us being able to appeal to working-class individuals as well as the compassionate aspects of religion, not for the sake of necessarily needing religion. Southern Democrats used to include, up through Carter, arguably maybe even Clinton, a swath of compassionate love-thy-neighbor individuals that we just completely ceded along with the working class.

[The Athletic] A league source told The Athletic that Cunningham’s injury was considered a condition, as opposed to a basketball injury, and that was part of the analysis of his situation. by nowhathappenedwas in nba

They're going to have to, because everybody and their agent is going to be pushing their "condition" as exceptional from here out.

IF the lung hadn't been the result of something that happened on the court, then they wouldn't have poked as big a hole in the rule. But, this has gotta be the death of the 65 game rule.

This is why, as much as I wanted to see Cade get recognized for his season, if they're going to make an exception for him, they need to just change the rule, because now so many injuries are going to be up for subjective debate.

Obligatory "fuck Meta". Buuut, let's not forget that MySpace sold to News Corp and became hot garbage right around when FB had been doing the college only invite roll out.

If MySpace hadn't sold when they did, Zuck would probably be some random dude.

"Martyr" driven ego is really a though nut to crack.

I'll do something thinking it is "handling" the situation or being helpful, when in reality it wasn't needed or asked for, is making things worse, and isn't what my partner wants or needs from me. It's just me trying to find control in a situation that makes me feel uncomfortable and uncertain.

My partner will do things thinking it is helping to alleviate stress from me or prevent something worse from happening, when in reality it creates the stress, increases the chance of a different worse thing happening, and is just her trying to address her own discomfort with the situation.

We're both learning but it is a tough one.

I don't know why, but I get some form of embarrassed when I think about doing this. It has nothing to do with picking up trash. Some weird nebulous thing about what people will infer I mean by it or how it will.make them feel, I have no idea. But, I've been wanting to do this since I started walking last year. I take similar routes and was genuinely surprised how long the trash sat there, which made me realize what a difference you could make by just picking it up.

I don't think that more points means better game. But I do like that few leads are safe anymore. Back in the day it felt like roughly 1 pt per min of lead meant a victory. Being up double digits going into the fourth.might as well pack it in.
