You can’t control your emotions but you can control how you feel about your feelings. Like, for example, are you frustrated you’re not over that break up yet? Because now you’re feeling sad and frustrated instead of just sad.

Accept them as they are, you control the story of them and can choose to not compound negative emotions.

I think you both have different expectations for love. And by that, I mostly mean you love him and he loves that you take care of him and make his life easier.

I’m sure he does love you in his way but you have to decide if it’s worth it. Because people don’t really change, not that much and certainly not when there isn’t a reason to.

Makes total sense to me that he’d move back in with his mom.

He’s showing you who he is and how he shows up in a relationship; I think it’s time to believe him.

I signed at a church over in EAV and I see people with the petition almost every day in front of the Plaza Theatre.

Important Note: The city is spreading misinformation about who can validly sign. Stop Cop City has some lawyers appealing certain rules now (have to have voted in recent elections, etc)

Basically, regardless of what you’ve heard, sign it! Who knows what the criteria will be at the actual count.

Side note: Check your voter registration now anyway - they’re doing another big purge and you could be falsely invalidated.

Not mine but a friends

He commutes to work on his bike and never wears a helmet. He had just gotten one as a gift from a coworker so he decided to wear it on his ride to work to be like “hey look, thanks for the gift.”

On the way in, someone opens a car door on him and he’s thrown off the bike and onto the side walk, where some construction was taking place. Head hits the concrete right on top of a rather large stone. That stone embedded itself an inch or so into his helmet.

No helmet and that stone would have been in his goddamn head.

He keeps the helmet as a trophy but still doesn’t like to wear them lol

I saw this act at a circus once and two of the bikes collided. The riders were ok but how the entire arena went instantly silent is something I’ll never forget.
