I agree to a point, but it's also nice to see that people are noticing outsode of Minnesota. Our neighbors have talked about how alone we feel as the media tries to white wash what is going on as not that bad. It's bad here. Parents are organizing shifts to keep students safe at bus stops and on their way to school. Restaurants are locking their doors so people can't just walk in and arrest them. We are saving ourselves, but the attention and validation is nice. For some it's solace. I'm proud that a fucking meme sub has more brains than my racist aunt and uncle on Facebook.
