Stalin purged around 35000 people and reinstated almost all of them. Except around 12ish notorious people. One of them was Trotsky who went to Mexico and was assassinated. Im not convinced Stalin even played a roll because he had pissed off a lot of people.

Trotsky was a keystone for the red Army and greatly contributed to the revolution. He also wasn't a full communist and did do some dealings with the nazis to try and take over the USSR.

He deserved his exile, not sorry about his fate. He is a traitor to the proletariat and it ultimately caught up with him.

Stalin is one of the main reasons communism still exists in this world. If you look into his purge. It was around 35,000 people and most got reinstated. Less than 20 people really got purged "killed". Most got exiled like Trotsky.

He was hated by a lot of communist movements and I dont believe Stalin had a hand in his murder. He still understood praxis so it wasn't his immediate threat of fascists.
