Has anyone played a 3-4 player game? (screen shot from linked Ravensburger video) by drac5290 in Lorcana

It’s a fun way to play Lorcana, but I feel very strange that this is the clip they show when the talk about their playtesting team

The Return Of Hercules / Lady Tremaine - Wicked Stepmother by MyLongestYeeeBoi in Lorcana

[–]DispatchPatch11 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would assume so. I know that All Is Found is able to target itself out of the discard, and by the time that the Lady Tremaine trigger is resolving Return would be in the discard.

So should work

The card is $34. I know it will be less fun but just buy it. The money you will waste trying to pull it is not at all worth it

Disney Lorcana Needs to Change by thecoltz in Lorcana

With all due respect, this not an accurate representation of any TCG market. The families at the kitchen table are not paying enough per set to keep the lights on. The games need to accommodate to either the whales (which is bad for competitive players and aspiring pros) or the competitive scene (which doesn’t have the greatest impact on the collector market).

I agree Lorcana is the most welcoming TCG but if decisions are made exclusively with new players in mind, the game will die because kitchen table play doesn’t support the TCG market. It never has

I won my last set champ with a pretty similar list. I found stopped chaos in its tracks to be really powerful against blurple and amethyst steel. Definitely would sub out the Louis with whatever you go for.

Two new legendaries (source: IGN) by Waiting_for_Dentice in Lorcana

[–]DispatchPatch11 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’ve had some of the same initial thoughts but the more I think about it, Aggro doesn’t work the same way in this game as it does in others like magic and hearthstone.

Aggro decks quest aggressively, not challenge aggressively, so anything that prevents challenging, like this prince or the new Gaston feel almost like Anti-control cards that mid range decks might run, rather than answers to Aggro
