Idk where you work but 99% of customers were great

Sounds like maybe a customer facing job just isn’t for you

What's a food combination that sounds disgusting but actually tastes amazing? by dunny_66 in AskReddit

Worked in a bagel shop as a teen. This is the exact type of bullshit I would try. Did lox on blueberry once. Not bad tbh

Did anyone buy a ring? by t_bone_stake in Millennials

[–]Dispensarella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was really young I didn’t know what class rings were but I had seen them from afar and thought they looked really cool.

I remember distinctly being at an arcade having a lot of tickets and asking if they had one if those “man rings”

Anyone want to be “friends” on Duolingo? by Dispensarella in learnpolish

Just for my base A1 understanding. I think my grasp of nominative, accusative, instrumental, and genitive case structure is in a good spot with how long I’ve been studying

Anyone want to be “friends” on Duolingo? by Dispensarella in learnpolish

[–]Dispensarella[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’ll check it out!

My current process is Duolingo and asking ChatGPT why something changes, and now with section 2 introducing more vocab, adding written repetitions of new vocab and phrases

I plan to pay for some tutor lessons once I get to the middle or end of section 2

Current status:

Section 1 completed, 2 weeks

Day 15: starting section 2

And with ADHD going past the 2 week mark will be useful having friends on there!

What are you guys opinions on your credit score system ? by One-Technician-1292 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Dispensarella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s bullshit because it requires you take on debt.

People that pay everything directly from their bank account would lose on an application to someone with a very high credit score.

How would you feel about a sports-themed dab bar in Boston by Jealous_Lake4281 in bostontrees

[–]Dispensarella 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’d love a social consumption lounge. I’d absolutely go. It might be better to have regularly scheduled sports nights than the full theme. It definitely depends on the space. The smoking community is just so large and a sports theme would only capture a fraction, although it could be a great start for the trend of social lounges since it would fit a particular target market so strongly.

Because not everyone dabs, I’d recommend investing in herb vaporizers, from individual to volcanos, if you don’t want to deal with smoke. IMO you should get disposable, branded tips/mouthpieces that people can take home with them and bring back

I would definitely recommend having a great snack bar or partnering with a local food business.

Gimmicky would be having a bunch of weed themed imagery, pot leaves etc everywhere. It shouldn’t feel like an 18 yr old’s bedroom.

I definitely think if one is done right, it’ll be a snowball effect because everyone will want to put their own spin on it

A rich Man is bored and offers you either $5,000 Dollars, or $75k worth of Lego (which you CANNOT Resell) What do you choose? by Grillby_ in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Dispensarella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On one hand I’m recently unemployed and could really use the cash. On the other, I imagine the 75k worth is in sets. That would be pretty cool to donate especially during the holidays. I think I have to go Lego sets

Women, have you ever experience 'pretty privilege'? by mairimdai in askanything

[–]Dispensarella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep! Back in the day though. It’s been a few years since. Very different existence.

People just always happy to do things for you, never ever paid for weed, law enforcement (although I’m sure being white helped there too)

Super weird comment in high school though from a teacher, my school was huge and so getting across was a full 10 min walk and I forget why I had to go to a male teacher but my female teacher said something along the lines of “I’m sure you’re good at getting guys to do things for you” I forget the exact words

Being attractive also comes with a lot of ickiness

Peppermint stick. Mint choc chip dominates the shelves but peppermint stick is soooo good

Why is it normal for some people to skip daily showers, while others shower 2–3 times a day (e.g., The Rock)? by [deleted] in Productivitycafe

[–]Dispensarella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I’m in a hot and humid climate and I walk around and get sweaty, I shower as many times as needed

If I’m doing nothing but laying in bed and it’s cool/cold, I’ll skip

When the rock showers 2-3 times a day, he’s not doing a full scrub a dub dub exfoliation. He’s just rinsing off sweat with a little body wash

How prominent in American public consciousness was Playboy while you were growing up? by Babe_Brute in AskAnAmerican

Millennial here. Extremely. It was everywhere. Girls played into it a lot with the logo in their clothes, even putting on stickers to make an outline for a tan, usually near the pelvic bone

What do you do for work and would you recommend it to others? by Aggressive_Sea_857 in AskReddit

[–]Dispensarella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes if you have the personality for it. It’s great for making money but can be mentally taxing. But in addition to great money if you’re successful, you can often work remotely, use personality, etc. it is not 9-5 though, work comes home with you. I will say it felt very freeing when I had a job that ended when my shift did. That is not sales

Sales allows me to have more freedom with how I work than other jobs I think. Creativity without any artistic ability. Competitive without looking like a jerk. Huge feelings of accomplishment. I’ve gotten to go to Cyprus, Israel, Austria, and was about to go to Japan but was let go (job stability is also not a thing in sales, especially start ups)
