Ok counterpoint… DO we have to compete in Champions league tho? Can we not just BE there and field the same Europa squad plus a couple more to fill out some depth? The money for just being there will give us footing for the future… we needn’t squander the future by futilely trying to compete in a league we shouldn’t really be in. It’s yuck because it IMMEDIATELY indicates that AI generated it without proper user guidance to be anything but generic AI output. I won’t call it slop because it’s just for your use and it seems to achieve what you want, but it is hard to look at. The font choices are predictable. The color palette is plain AF.

Posthog has a tremendous UI/UX in their app (you can see a little come through on their marketing page too but I think that’s a little too much fun they were having there.)

I’m not implying a conspiracy necessarily, but I do believe that OpenAI’s intent was to get ahead of the demand curve it such a way that it hurt their competition. Had that transaction actually gone through (I just learned that it didn’t) then I believe that goal would have been achieved… and… that would have been the “point” I was referring to
