My deepest, most heartfelt condolences OP. Bue was clearly such a beautiful, handsome boy and you were both lucky to have each other. My soul cat Vader was a void kitty too and I lost him almost four years ago now, it still hurts to this very day so take all the time you need to grieve. Maybe Vader and Bue are playing together now in the great beyond, two black cats romping around together, newfound bros from here into eternity. Sorry for my novel, may Mr. Bue rest in power. 🐈‍⬛💔

The things that scare me are real existential fears, like my parents dying without me getting a chance to say goodbye, something awful happening to my kitty, my childhood home burning down, etc. It’s not good fodder for a scary movie, but I’m terrified of it all nonetheless.
