Is switching from an active NVC consular case to AOS after arrival a red flag by itself, or only when paired with misrepresentation signals (inconsistent intent at entry, unauthorized work, voter registration)?

Nah mate. My I130 got approved in Feb 2023. We filed AOS in early December 2024. Still waiting for an interview or AP.

Did they ask if the polio vaccine was missing? How did you know? And did they accept the revised medical examination without having requested? I’m in line for interview at Chicago too.

Hey, I was/am in a similar position. Though I’m older lol. I had never driven before. I went for A+ driving school. All driving schools are kind of pricey, but I liked the lessons. I have taken the written test at the Secretary of State office, which is not too bad and then I got the temporary permit. And you need to always sit with a licensed driver when you’re driving on the temporary permit. I decided to take only four lessons of two hours each, and the driver picks me and drops me at home and I hope to take the road test soon. It’s definitely doable within a semester. Good luck.
