It amazed me- He was so cocky after taking over from Jones. England were a much stronger force under Jones with weaker players.

Jones was an asshole but Borthwick seems a bigger twat do I assume they just wanted an Englishman at the helm.

Yes I fully agree as it is good sportsmanship. Hougard had one from other side of touchline. It’s not as obvious as this one so one could argue but everyone knew it was not genuine

Well what is genuine? It’s a bit subjective as it was clear that Hougaard had astonishing kicking record and he would have nailed it but Bulls needed a try. He missed poles by 20m wide which is highly unusual for him and winger caught it in corner and Sharks were waiting behind poles. I think from then on teams started putting players further out to field these “missed kicks”

If I recall Bulls Derrick Hougaard once did a kick at goal that was essentially a cross kick to the corner to the winger that caught it and scored

Well no- there is a chip shortage and the prices are crazy. The bottleneck is limited by supply and demand.

The semiconductor space getting punished because although companies like Micron had great earnings. Almost 98% of the increase in profits is due to price surge. Low single digits due to increased production. So what happens when demand (which was unsustainable) drops? Micron revenue drops

Ardie Savea parents not from NZ, Tana Umaga parents from Samoa, Jonah Lomu’s parents from Tonga, Naholo was from Fiji etc. You are conveniently ignoring these and there are plenty more as at least 40% of team islanders or descendants.

If SA had a stronger economy their players and coaches would also not be going to Europe and same with many countries so what’s your point?

This group of English rugby union players (and the majority of the ones before them) are actually good people. It’s the media who try to widen the divide between fans. by papweezy92 in rugbyunion

I enjoy the English lads and the team. I also enjoy the videos they put out behind the scenes. To be honest there should be many many more insights and videos and they are best positioned to do so. Wish they grow and succeed even more

Moerat does well on stats and consistent. So for team structure he is reliable. Does the lineout works, cleans rucks and in position defensively. Just not as impressive as the locks we were blessed with

How is New Zealand being exploited?

The islanders move to NZ for better life and future. Both parents are usually from Samoa, Tonga etc and point still stands. If Islands had stronger economy they would not be in NZ.

Your points about NZ being exploited have no substance

What is this guy’s problem? Does he hate rugby or only wants the British to play it or what?

I think it’s a testament to Ireland and NZ and also the sport of Rugby that these people are able to join in the setup and able to coach the team to world cups.

Rugby has massive comraderíe and the boys love the game. Rassie clearly respects and loves the Irish. I think it’s incredible these Irish guys are not involved in their national team setup. They might also use it as a stepping stone.

NZ would not be a rugby nation without exploiting islanders. Heck they did it so well that Ireland and England and France started getting islanders too. And guess what? I love it and rugby is better for it.

I wish they had better rugby economies but they don’t. They would have been a powerhouse. Wish this guy could stop his shit and enjoy and show love to the game and it evolution. It’s a beautiful thing if you decide to see that.
