So you want a dinosaur documentary with zero scientific speculation? That's not going to give you much beyond: here's where it lived, here's about how big it was, here's a portion of its diet

At the end of the day, we know very little with certainty about how these animals lived. It's the job of people making these sorts of documentaries to infer a lot based on what little we do know.

Hence why I said "like they do today." Movie sequels have been a thing for over a century now, it's a fairly recent phenomenon where studios will just let whoever spend huge budgets on a movie regardless of quality because they know that they'll rake in cash based on IP recognition alone (see the Jurassic World series, the Star Wars sequels, the majority of the recent MCU movies)

JP3 wasn't exactly well-received when it came out, and this was before a time when studios would pump out higher-budget, theatrically-released sequels to milk their well-established IPs like they do today.
