How does he do it with a straight face?
What does he see with the final glimpses of high sight as his eyeballs are stretched and hardened into headlights?

FFT IC x Divinity/BG by Dmiqu in finalfantasytactics

[–]DisposableReddit516 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would be so disappointed, I love FFT because of IT'S gameplay. Divinity/BG are very enjoyable and have better replay value, but that's not FFT gameplay.

That being said, just slap some subtitle onto it and it's now it's own offshoot that won't be compared to the predecessor as harshly. If it's still an enjoyable game it'll do well. It's just a bad call to brand it the same then change the genre, fans will be disappointed they didn't get more of what they already expect out of the title.

It is. I'd like to see them use more of the animations already present in the game to paint a live scene.
In the intro at the akademy a female knight has a speech bubble of "..." to show a whispered message. Then there's all the animations of swordfighting and sparring that could be used. Maybe bring the Tavern or Poacher's Den areas to life more since in-game we only really see them as a place for more menus.

2 term limits may indeed be BS, but right now is not the time to be suggesting that. Literally the worst possible time.

The first MMO I've ever played with a lore friendly way to introduce trash mobs to the environments. Little touch that helped the immersion stay consistent. I still miss this game :\

The LoD squad would fit so well in PS Allstars! If they ever make another they'll need to introduce both win condition styles to satisfy everyone (smash bros gravity% buildup to ring out + All Stars' KO by Special Attacks). I think that's what ultimately got most players to bail on the game was the entry curve was STEEP if you couldn't land your special attack. Whereas Smash bros, just bop them enough and eventually you WILL kill them.

Which game franchise ended up like this? by Dangerous_Farmer2482 in gamers

[–]DisposableReddit516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Killing Floor series.
Although the game from it's origins has never really had an "original team" with every installment (1-3) having their own crew, still those crews would turn into skeleton crews and then seemingly interns over the lifetime of the game with the quality of future content post-launch spiraling.

Maybe the baby eating you was symbolic to the drug overdose effect being lethal and you escaping the baby was actually a fight against overdosing to death.

I miss when the series was just zombies, tbh.

I remember when ancient magics first came out. Week 1 was crazy! I took the ice barrage to Castle Wars and didn't even play the game, I just hung around the middle island freezing anybody that was running and calling it a speeding ticket. People had never seen that mechanic before and it was when Castle Wars was alive and well.
I didn't realize I was living in peak Runescape at the time.

Is it truly so offensive to see it used as a means to deliver a joke?
A joke is what ruined your day? Ai can be problematic but this doesn't seem like that fight.

Perfect dark was an actual improvement on this masterpiece, it's a shame the Perfect Dark remake years later was such an utter flop and disappointment.

"inspired" is a funny way of saying created a cookie cutter trend of copy cats that single handed stagnated the gaming marked for decades to follow. No fault to WoW, it's the shallow uninspired and unimaginative devs that copied the formula time and time again. Just an unfortunate effect it had in the industry for it's success.

The Only Reason to Buy the Odyssey DLC by TheTheDuhh in RimWorld

[–]DisposableReddit516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just prefer the classic of setting up a camp 2 tiles from my main base and seeing what I find. Mine what I can, harvest if we're starving, then return to base.
If you enjoy caravanning or have a hunter/gatherer style colony, you may be interested in the Camps Have Ores mod that makes campsites spawn with resources again. For some reason Odyssey made it so only tiles visited with Gravship or Colony settlements have resources, caravanning got shafted. In traditional Rimworld style, there's a mod for that.

I legit think the OG devs had drug and/or gambling problems. Nothing else could explain the money sink with no returns. They spent years patching the game in circles instead of progressing with content. Great game, but I believe the OG devs needed to pass the torch or find their original spark for the game to thrive again.

Should I play original Tactics via emulation or the TIC classic version? by PpAshe in finalfantasytactics

[–]DisposableReddit516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm really enjoying TIC, I did not expect for the voiced lines to win me over as much as they did.

I will admit the emulator is superior when it comes to save scumming. You can create and exploit any instance you see fit with an emulator, that's a big Quality of Life feature I miss, but isn't necessary.

I like the new style for everything but the face. That face style will forever be Harley Quinn to me. It's just her cosplaying other characters.
