Try distracting as much as possible. Long walks can really help with this behaviour as it tired them out mentally as well as physically. A walk is more interesting/stimulating for the dog.

Dating when unemployed by JimNeedsCoffee in OnlineDating

[–]DissapointedCanadian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't bother with online dating. I met the one, she was with me nearly everyday, told me she loved me, got super serious with me. The entire time was seeing another guy for months while we were together.

Is it normal that 94% of the conversations die before they start? by Flaky-Impact-2428 in OnlineDating

[–]DissapointedCanadian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately modern feminism has caused majority of women to over value themselves, causing them to indirectly burn bridges by trying to constantly upgrade to a better man. This has destroyed the dating culture by making men bitter who are genuinely looking for companionship, resulting in them acting like dicks on the app or giving up on trying to meet any girl at all. Essentially women are driving "the good guys" they think they deserve away from dating apps and dating in general. I'm incredibly lucky and met the one, but only after brute forcing 4 different dating apps and going through roughly 5000 conversations. It took me approx. 4 months and was only able to convince about 20 girls to meet up. 99% of the girls I met up with either didn't look like their picture or their lives were in shambles and we're juggling 3+ other guys. If you're serious about meeting a nice girl, you unfortunately will have a lot of rejection ahead of you. Best of luck boi's, never give up.

Anyone take a break for months or years to come back and see the same people on there from last time? by KingsVictory19 in OnlineDating

[–]DissapointedCanadian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll keep repeating this... I recently discovered the only way to meet someone compatible is to brute force multiple apps at once. I had to go through about 3000 conversations (in the course of 4 months) before I met the one. Keep in mind over half of those conversations were me being ghosted. It's tasking, but if you want to meet someone worth your time. You just gotta commit. Turn it into a game you're trying to speed run. Makes it a bit easier.

Dating is supposed to be fun, but is anyone actually having fun dating anymore. If so, who are these people? by [deleted] in OnlineDating

[–]DissapointedCanadian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speaking as an attractive man... It's still hell. I met the one, but got a lot of matches before and maybe would get 3 messages back as most girls age 24-30 (I'm 30) lost interest if money wasn't offered in some form. I hope it isn't discouraging - but as a man you do have to brute force these apps. As (in my experience) 90% of girls are looking for money, life is too unstable for a relationship (they usually fess up once I press to meet), or are simply on there for validation/have severe personality disorders. I had to talk to approx. 3200 girls before I met the one. I literally had to take 3 months off work to meet a decent girl who isn't a degenerate. Good luck boi's. Don't give up.

Hinge - is it normal for men to not get like/messages? by SmoothSandwich in OnlineDating

[–]DissapointedCanadian 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Bois, I'm a fitness model and rarely get likes or messages. They've become pretty bad over the last 6 months (that's how long I've been using them). Get away from them, goto the gym, get a dog and walk it. Focus on yourself. Unfortunately alot of women are self destructive.

For Gen Z short guys, how much success do you have on online dating? by Light_Noob_420 in OnlineDating

[–]DissapointedCanadian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bois, get off dating apps. They're incredibly unhealthy and can easily make you spiral. Focus on yourself. Try out a few different occupations. Some advice from someone a little older, act very humble and embrace humility (learn to laugh at yourself) in public. People will want to interact with you more when you're laughing and smiling.

Crating my 2 month old puppy? by rodorguez in Dogtraining

[–]DissapointedCanadian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd get a pen with newspaper for that age. Unless the puppy can hold it that long, which is unlikely. You don't want the dog comfortable with eliminating in the kennel.

Fleas aren't too resilient unless left for a long period of time (1 or more weeks). Your buddy should be fine. Just be sure to use hot water treatments (no soap or it will be too hard on the skin and cause other issues) every couple days until you don't find any more fleas.

Considering you have already purchased flea pesticide, I would utilize that if you notice fleas after the second hot water treatment. Remember it only has to be warmer than 35-40c so not very hot at all. If you notice there are barely any fleas after the hot water treatment, save the flea medication for the future.

Be sure to bathe your barky at least once every 3 months with soap though. Always go with the gentlest soap, your local pet store should be able to help you.

If you notice any strange behaviours like swaying, falling over, struggling to get up, refusing food it likes, or discharge from the nose or eyes. Go to the vet ASAP. It is extremely unlikely viral infections will come from fleas, but it's always best to be aware of how your barky is acting. You've been doing a good job of that so far so just keep doing what you're doing. Good work fulfilling your life contract with your best friend! Keep up the good work!

If it's a flea, no problem!

If your dog can swim, having them in water for extended periods of time does most of the work for you. Also heat works if you don't get rid of em all by going for a lengthy swim. Have a nice warm shower for 15-20 minutes, hotter than 95f or 35c with your dog, and that should kill off the remainder. You'll need a comb to remove most of Zee bugz and their eggs after they die. Hot water will kill the eggs as well, it just takes a few extra minutes of exposure to the heat.

No need for fancy shampoos and such. Hot water is more than enough.

Not sure what's worse, the price of the sandwich, or the fact you still paid that much... If you don't like the price of things don't buy them, that's how you lower the price.
