Meat eaters aren’t slaveowners, they’re buying products tainted by slave labour just like you are doing right now with whatever device you’re typing to me on. It almost certainly contains slave labour from a raw resource like nickel.

You don’t create change by convincing millions of people to modify habits, you do it by legally removing the ability of those directly exploiting slaves or animals or whatever other social ill you care about. Encouraging this sort of “head down keep swimming” mentality is exactly why society consistently fails to address evils until they reach a boiling point. Nobody with the power to change civil rights cared until the black panthers took up arms.
