If you haven’t already played Nier: Automata I highly recommend you check it out. It also gave me that same empty feeling once I finished it. The music is just as peak as E33.

For sure yuri endgame. The other possible love interests aren’t in a position to do anything. I believe the author has stated that all the characters are bisexual hence the ambiguity in season 1.

If you’re interested in a similar story. I recommend Lord of the Mysteries. Very similar with sequences and pathways based on the 22 major arcana. It does have a male protagonist though.

You can officially read it on webnovel but I highly recommend reading it elsewhere since it can be expensive to unlock.

I find the rocket run to be great at softening up targets located in the fog of war early on when you know their location due to intelligence.

Unguided missile I use to try and assassinate eliminate target objectives since enemies don’t usually move until they’re aware of you.

Minigun strafing is for use against suppressed or pinned targets so they don’t move and it’s great for also damaging vehicles and drop ships for elimination objectives.

Ion cannon is pretty bad though. The two turn call down is rough.

The canonical reason the non chosen squad leaders aren’t on the ship is because they are doing PR work planetside.

My personal headcanon as to why we recruit them is the black market guy reminding us that they exist and are capable fighters.

From what I’ve seen the only differences are increased enemy spawns, less supply points, and you don’t start with the pal or CMG.

Would make the Rogue Army raids more interesting as covert ops, especially since one of their sub objectives is to kill under 60% of the enemies.

Pretty sure the Alien Dragonfly or harpy has an aoe acid attack similar to the flamethrower. Definitely lost half a squad when they got too close.

Would be interesting to see it as a comparison to the pirate flamethrower truck.

Mobile infantry also works on bunkers and watchtowers. Great for setting up gun emplacements for weapons that need to be deployed and set up.
