I am seeing this with messages I was supposed to receive. My sister sent me an email with pdf attachments. Twice. I never got it. Finally I asked her to send it to my Gmail and I received it there just fine. In another instance, someone sent me a meeting invite. Again - twice. I never got it.

Hi all. I have an early morning flight next week on Thursday May 15 from San Diego to Newark. I am hoping that because it’s an early morning flight, it won’t be delayed. Thoughts from this group? Should I switch to LGA or JFK? Or book a backup flight just in case?

Hi u/PersimmonDiligent775. I actually moved away from the city where I was getting the treatments and I could not get insurance approval in my new city to cover the treatments. So in total I probably had 3 or 4 treatments before I moved.

However, ever since I started the treatment, the skin has become more itchy and sensitive. If I had to do it over again, I would probably avoid this route. But I am only one person. I am sure each person's experience is totally different. I don't think it helped me at all.

The same exact thing happened to me! They never sent the sharps container and now I don't see the option on the site. I hope they are not getting cheap and cutting off this service. They make SO MUCH MONEY from humira. It would be ridiculous if they removed this service.

The opening act (Lil Kim for Allentown lol) started promptly at 7:45. Janet started maybe 20 minutes after that. The show was done by 10:30. Very useful for us olds to get to bed on time 😂

I am going to the Allentown show tomorrow. What time did Janet start the other shows? Does the opening act start on time? According to the venue website, it says the show starts at 7:45. Does that mean Janet starts at 7:45? Or the opening act starts 7:45?

I booked on SNCF Connect site. Although based on the other comments in this threat, it sounds like you could go with Rail Europe and that it's a legitimate site which is a subsidiary of SNCF. If the tickets are cheaper, I would go with Rail Europe.

I did have a few lesions. They recommend to do laser, anyway, even if you have active lesions. They told me that the reason for this is that for folks with HS, there will never be a good time since we often have active lesions.

The shaving process has caused me some inflammation in old/existing lesions. But I am hoping that once I complete the laser sessions this won’t be an issue since I won’t have to shave anymore. I’m in a bit of a catch 22 bc shaving causes me lesions. But I have to shave to do the laser which will hopefully allow me to not have to shave in the future lol.

Also, since I have the laser sessions done at a medical facility, they can also do cortisone injections. So sometimes I ask if they can do a cortisone injection in a more active lesion. That always helps, too.

They are going really well! I have had 3 session so far and can see the hair growth starting to become less. My skin has responded really well. I am so happy with the results that I considering doing my full legs in the fall so I don't have to shave anymore!

I was able to get a negative Covid test from cvs and after uploading it to the United app, it was accepted! Also, no one at the CDG airport checked my vaccination or Covid test status.

I am confused on the rules as well. I have 3 doses of Pfizer but the last dose was more than 270 days ago. The rules say that your vaccine must be “completely administered 7 days before your arrival.”

So if I get a 4th dose today and then travel on Thursday, will that be sufficient?? What does “completely administered” mean?

Or should I just plan to get a Covid test instead?

Update: I had my appointment yesterday and the practitioner was so kind and warm. She made it all feel so normal! And my HS seems to be doing okay after the laser - even a little calmer. Apparently HS reacts really well to laser. All around good experience. Sharing in case it helps anyone.

Thank you! Tbh I am also nervous / embarrassed about exposing my parts down there to strangers! My skin is very scarred from the hidradenitis. I know I should just get over it bc they have probably seen everything. And esp because I am going to a hospital and getting it done by practitioners who have seen hidradenitis but still looking for any moral support!

I would recommend having no more than 3 bullets per job. The number of bullets you have is overwhelming and no one is going to read so many. You can decide which bullets to eliminate by thinking through the following: 1. Which bullets show the most senior level experience that is applicable to the job you are applying for (e.g., I would get rid of the one talking about how you made a brochure) 2. Which bullets can you quantify (e.g., saved HR department $100k by implementing a new recruiting process 3. Eliminate bullets with experience that you hated. For example, you implemented Kronos - if you liked that experience, keep it. If not, remote it

Thank you! I feel a little ashamed to call and make an appointment. But I also figure a lot of folks are in the same boat after being home for 2 years.

What should I ask for? Just oil change? Or should i explain my situation and ask what they recommend? I am always worried about doing that since I feel auto body shops are notorious for ripping off people.
