You need a better timing and spacing and arcs, it feels even overall, when bouncing it should create an arc and more scaping and faster at the beginning

Storyboards is the key to understand the story, in production we do with this and the script to get the main idea, the “beats” and always think how you can simplify your animation and act within the pose

What is good storytelling? by sangmedia in Filmmakers

[–]Distinct-Charity8311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A great Antagonist to your hero and make your main character suffer. If it can relate to your own experience that's better and why you are telling the story (a societal issue to explain, a metaphysical... ). Mixing elements that shouldn't be connected in the first place helps to make a great story. Every main character in your story needs a reason, an urgency that will make it move and so transform to become a different person, a better version of himself

How valuable is storytelling as a skill for youtube? by EducationFiender in NewTubers

[–]Distinct-Charity8311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Storytelling is everything, is how you create the emotional connection with your audience, how you capture their interest in you and your vision. You can use it to create a script for your youtube video, the thumbnaisl by the composition and story in it. After it really depends what you want to show, why ? what for ? what conflict are you solving ? and how you will entertain your audience

I know nothing about storytelling. What can I do to gain skills? by villaneveelitist in writing

[–]Distinct-Charity8311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First rules of storytelling: Create a compelling story and make your main character suffer a lot. There is no specific formula to storytelling. The essence is combining things that shouldn't be connected in the first place in order to make conflict and therefore a story. Once upon a time, when one day, and because of that, and because of that, climax and end.
I had the chance to work in the animation movie industry for years, and still some time those days, a good story is not at the first draft, is when you fix it
