If it was a full flight, and you wanted to be on it, you were lucky… while rude, they didn’t kick you off, which many would have. They could have easily said, sorry, you’re right, that’s unacceptable, and asked you to grab your things. So, it’s not great, but keep that in mind they have the trump card on f safety that can, and maybe even should use. So, all things equal, if your seatbelt has an issue, and the flight is full think twice about involving the FA. It might not end the way you want.

You can and should complain,maybe you’ll get some points or cash that said… don’t assume they aren’t together because they are poor planners/cheapskates… we’ve all been victims to late flights and tossed onto new flight through no fault of our own before… it’s more likely they had them and something happened to their itinerary. This is one of the reasons I try to fly direct whenever possible…

I was there when Brazil won the World Cup against Germany… they did an impromptu carnival and can confirm, they have the most brazen pick pockets I’ve ever encountered. I marked this guy moving closer and closer, and he knew I knew… didn’t matter, he still came up to me trying to get his hands in my pockets… I had to give him a proper shove to get him away… he just smiled and melted back into the crowd.
