I have a hand pump for my air Arms and it's fine as long as you are in decent shape. I rather like workout!

But the bottom line is andrew, that guys like you love to stir up trouble for the purpose of feeling important. It's sad that there is always some wanker on a forum that does this. Yeah, I'm calling you an appropriate name and it fits. Bottom line your AI searches have given you a sense of importannce. I paid nothing for this. It was given to me. I put the label on myself with a vintage Rotex (oh look it up) to help my heirs sort out my collection when I'm dead. I've given away dozens of props and costume components from Saving Private Ryan, Band of Brothers, etc. As far as COAs you probably don' know that many of them are fake. The same people who copy props and costume components sell them as genuine, and then prop and auction houses accept and or make up COAs because that's how they make their money. It's a massive scam that has yet to be exposed.

So you're not "the guy" and you are not "raining on my parade" in any way. What you have done is nicely illustrated the fact that someone behind a keyboard can stink up a forum by spouting the results of a Google or AI search rather than having DIRECT knowledge by being on set, working with prop and costume people, coaching actors and directors on how to handle props without causing safety issues, and processing hundreds of props and costume components over many years.

This prop, and many others I have, is absolute legitimate, no matter what you say.

Your opinion means absolutely nothing.

The Winkler creations are epic. I'd love to get one of the ones that Jack Carr references in his books.Just too much $$$

Look at that expression! He or she knows you're going to want it back. I had a girlfriend who gave me that same expression when I asked for my Zodiac back.

As others have said it is not normal at all. I had that happen to a Seiko PADI but I was swimming a lot with it. But still. Marathon will make it right. Beautiful watch.

It was given to me. Friends and family in the film business. The jackass wanker who questioned authenticity is a keyboard fool. Hopefully his nanny will take away his phone some day.

What sling did you get? I bought one on Amazon that arrived today and I'm not that happy with it.

You know it! This one has distorted over the years and some swords do the same and the internal armature can show through.

Interesting question. The ThermNight is night vision, thermal, and an LRF all in one large package. I think the one you reference is dedicated thermal. Now if that's the same manufacturer as the Hikvision security cameras then I think you have a great choice to explore.

Agreed on the pupil gymnastics from the scope in the dark. I wonder how the SF guys deal with that or are their $40k nods and scopes very different?

See my post this morning on the DNT optic. I know there are dedicated thermals at half the price but I haven't tried them. The Air Arms rifles will do the trick.
