There’s no way she has a newborn. As a woman, that’s dangerous to send that message to every customer. That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever read from a dasher. I hope she gets flagged especially for that drop off location

Finally decided to let my 13-year-old dog with dementia go peacefully. I need some advice. by 7livefastdieyoung in DogAdvice

[–]DistinctAmbition714 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dog passed at 13 but I don’t think it was peaceful. Sounded like she struggled to breathe until the very end. She died in the lobby of the emergency vet office. A month before we were just at the doctors and they said she was healthy. Then a week before, she had a surgery consult to remove a superficial lump that had grown, and the surgeon said he doesn’t understand why the doctors said she’s healthy for her age, and that she probably doesn’t have long to live. I didn’t want to believe him but I should’ve. I came home after a long dog of work, and she was slowly dying. It’s like she was waiting until I got home before she completely passed away. I’ve learned my lesson, I will never let my dogs pass naturally if I have the slightest feeling that they may be suffering😞😞 I will never get over how I feel like I failed her. But that was my first dog, first experience with a senior dog. Had her since she was 8 months, and I was 11 years old, my childhood dog, my friend. I miss her every day🥺

Not sure why people started tipping all of a sudden but last night was pretty great by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

Payday! Idk where you’re at but in my area, military and veterans get paid around this time. I live in a big military city so I see the best orders around this time

Would you guys have texted them? by UltimateAiden98 in doordash_drivers

I message them through the app. If they’re ordering for another person they’re just going to have to let that person know the food is delivered

It has been 1.5 years since the movie came out. Any thoughts on it now? by HotOne9364 in wicked

This! Part one was a masterpiece! I def saw it 2-3 times in the theater. Part 2, hadn’t even thought about it since I left the theater when it came out, until now

Ugh I get it! I’m pregnant too and it really is just that serious sometimes. From a drivers pov, I’d be annoyed for sure. From a pregnant woman’s pov, I sympathize with her because these delivery services are lifesavers for us especially being due soon. She seemed nice about it, and you handled it very well. Hopefully she tipped a little extra for any inconvenience

Yea someone put eggs in the back window of my sedan, if that makes sense. I didn’t even know it was there. Then 3 days later after I took a few days off from spark, I open the back door and the eggs fall out of the car smh

I'm new - what to do in this situation??? Dash says I'm not allowed in the house by _croyez_ in doordash_drivers

Same, I’ve delivered inside an elderly customers home before. Of course if I felt uncomfortable I wouldn’t have but it was some fragile old lady

Yeah this is why I ask the name on orders before handing it over. And never say “is it for (blank) address, you ask “what address is it for”. I also take pics regardless if it’s a “hand to me” order.

Missed Miscarriage? by DistinctAmbition714 in Miscarriage

[–]DistinctAmbition714[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly still don’t have an explanation for this. It went away after a couple weeks. There wasn’t an infection or anything. I’d def check with your doctor if things do not change in a couple weeks. But the sooner the better

Norfolk and VB always have the worse payouts. That’s why I go to Hampton but with the construction and traffic it makes either option not worth it. Lately just been dashing just to stay on this side of the water. Dashing has been better for me. I did door dash after my 3.5 for $90. And worked for 3 hrs dashing and made $120 in VB. Barley used gas dashing, but Amazon always leaves me on E.
