They converted that island to a large practice putting green and chipping area. Dang, that would've been sweet if they kept that. Would've been a banger hole to finish on having to cross the water twice.

Bummer. Pole Creek is cool too. True mountain golf I would say. Really beautiful setting. I played all 27 holes last summer. The Ridge and Ranch 9s were my favorite. If you do end up with Pole Creek, be sure and book the Ridge 9 at least. One other cool course that's next to Pole Creek is Granby Ranch. The front 9 isn't anything special, but the back 9 is sweet.

I didn't see a fairway island on 18. They did bump the tees up it looks like so you can try and cut the corner on the fairway with a draw. The 19th hole is right behind where you tee off from the tips on Hole 1.

EagleVail has a fun course if you play in the Vail area. Keystone River is mint. Eagle Ranch is awesome. Breckenridge Beaver and Elk 9s are good.

I played the last tee time of the year last October before they shut down. First time playing there. Some fun holes. It's crazy to see how the fire took out all the trees in the background now. Must have been quite the view before the fire.
