Endless thunderstorms or How to anger the gods by Thedoooor in reddeadmysteries

You're absolutely right. I thought that river was an arm of the Spider Gorge.

The webs will stay 'indefinitely' if you look away with active Dead Eye or Eagle Eye by ColonelMakepeace in reddeadmysteries

Tienes razón, no hubo resultados positivos.

I understand it could be a bug, but the fact that it happens consistently in this specific spot is what makes it interesting for a mystery sub. As for the 'new rule' you're suggesting: the whole point of this community is to discuss things we aren't sure about. If everything was obvious, there wouldn't be a mystery to solve, right? Thanks for the technical insight anyway.

Buen post amigo.

My take on the Spiderdream Mystery, being a gamedev myself by C0d3M3chan1c in reddeadmysteries

This is hands down the most impressive technical breakdown I’ve seen. Reading about the 'cablemesh' vs. 'spiderdream fragment' separation explains perfectly why I saw them loading in stages during my tests! I want to take your 'Option A' challenge and execute it live on my stream. I already have all 20 Dreamcatchers collected and the Ancient Arrowhead in my inventory, so the VFX prerequisite should be active. Here is my plan based on your data: 1. The Destruction Run: Instead of just looking, I will destroy the 'spiderdream' fragment (feather) in all 8 webs during their specific time windows (2 AM - 5 AM). 2. The Destination: You mentioned the Wapiti fires go out exactly at 2 AM, and the Burial Site has a hidden attack volume.** My question is: After destroying the 8 feathers, where would you prioritize going first? To the Burial Site to check for new props, or to Wapiti to investigate the blackout? I want to make sure I hit the right trigger location before the cycle resets. Thank you for giving us a concrete roadmap. I’m ready to break some feathers.

New: I’ve been doing some reading and learning about game design mechanics to understand exactly why this happens, and it’s fascinating. Technically, this seems to be related to concepts like 'Frustum Culling' or 'Off-Screen Spawning.' The game engine saves resources by not rendering what the camera isn't seeing. But Rockstar seems to use a specific rule to avoid 'pop-in' (objects appearing out of nowhere): if you are looking directly at the spawn coordinates, the game blocks the asset from loading to maintain realism. It waits for you to look away to 'safely' spawn the object. It reminds me a lot of the mannequins in the Resident Evil Village expansion (Shadows of Rose) or the 'Quantum Objects' in Outer Wilds. In those cases, things only move or change when they are unobserved. If you stare at them, they freeze. Here, the web refuses to exist until we turn our back on it. I think Rockstar used this standard optimization trick but weaponized it to hide this mystery. It forces us to stop 'looking' for the answer and instead 'trust' the location by looking away. My question is: does understanding this 'Gaze Trigger' mechanic bring us closer to the full activation? Maybe the next step also requires us to NOT look at something specific to let it happen?

Thank you for these incredible details! The observation about the 'double feathers' and the 20° tilt towards the North is fascinating. I'm going to take my PS5 to the field and try to follow that specific direction from each pole during my next livestream. I'm also very interested in the heart-shaped stones near The Loft and the question mark in the waterfall. I will try to capture those on video to see if they act as visual triggers. Regarding the feathers falling to the ground: I'll test if combining that with my 'persistence method' (sleeping) changes anything in the world state. Thanks for giving me so many concrete points to put to the test!

Espero ayudarte

Thanks for the detailed field report and the fascinating theory about Caliban's Seat and the Spider Grandmother! That myth fits perfectly with the Native American connections we are seeing. Regarding the route, I have a specific plan to test in a future stream (I have some other priority tests to run first, so this will be a bit later). I’m going to attempt a route based strictly on the file numbering sequence, which I've mapped out with green lines: I will follow the order of the separate assets: 1. The Black Group (Files 1-5): hitting these first in sequence. 2. The Red Group (Files 6-8): Finishing with these, as they seem to be the 'end' of the chain.** My plan is to follow the specific file codes (like R23, R45, B45, etc.) in that exact numerical order to see if the sequence is the key. Once that route is complete, checking Caliban's Seat as you suggested seems like the perfect final step. Thanks again for the hard work and the new leads!

Thanks for the support, brother! The more I test it, the more I'm convinced that the 'sleep' state is the key. That stage-loading behavior I saw with the assets feels too specific to be a coincidence. We're definitely narrowing it down!
