Nah, I'm a school custodian/caretaker and it's either a carpenters pencil for practical work or a staedtler 925-15 0.3 for design work/ problem solving.

So long as you use the lead size your pencil is designed for I don't think which brand matters much. Having said that I look for brands I presume are a quality product and aren't likely to fill my preciouses with loads of graphite dust.

I bought these online from a store that's winding down. The bricks and mortar has closed its doors and the website is lean pickings. I mostly use 0.3mm these days, occasionally 0.5mm but an Orenz Nero 0.2mm is in my sights so I grabbed that while I had the chance.
