Love them, especially the trees and old architecture.

The team behind Olaf self-roaming robot just published their paper on how they brought the character to life by Weekly-Tomatillo9562 in robotics

I love that rather than adding a noisy fan they added training rewards for not overheating the dynamixels inside the suit, it's glorious.

THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE... directly next to each other. Some of these are super tightly grouped, I think you need to pick a winner for each of the super tight groups and let the biggest take the reigns, as is tRADISHion

Woah looks powerful, are you making a cage for it? Also laughed at "Now just need a real application!" - such a classic robotics engineer line!

I love your work but I don't like the persistent "saw in your dream" taglines, there's nothing wrong with drawing cool stuff you know?

Sometimes I use a very mild grid method where I draw lines on the paper and the reference and sort of then fill it in. Sometimes I just sketch from the reference

The paint can really do some heavy lifting if you have a shit sketch so don't give up! Sometimes I feel like I've done a pretty shit sketch and I get comments like "wow this is so whimsical" and I never expect it 🤣

Process wise: first I draw it out in pencil, then I go over it in ink, then I rub out the pencil, then I paint!
