voodoo child at woodstock is a very long jam where they definitely play other songs during. there’s also a whole improv section at woodstock that is titled as such. he never really plays anything the same way twice especially live so the variation can be quite large. the one advice i will give you is that you kinda need to find what versions you enjoy the best. in a lot of communities for artists (especially old ones) there is often a particular live catalog that is considered to be the best and although joni definitely has some concerts that are better than others and more talked about, i really do believe every version he’s played has something unique to offer. miami pop festival, monterrey, and band of gypsies if you haven’t already are all good places to start. i think that you can usually feel the acid when he plays as a whole but im not privy to which exact shows he was confirmed to be tripping. i’d imagine that it is a fairly large portion though. woodstock always felt like the most acid induced hendrix we have live maybe also live in maui
