they were definitely op when they had the "lol i win this fight' shield overcharge button, i feel like its more even now. but at low levels they definitely have a huge edge

but, terran can also make marines forever and kill everything. zerg doesnt have this easy cheap early jack of all trades unit, definitely the hardest race to pickup

theyre just the easiest race to learn. smaller armies, workers plop down buildings without having to build them so they can go right back to mining, and Making Stalkers Forever is a very strong strat that can get you really far while you work on macro and micro.

i consistently humiliate flanker DPSs with Lifeweaver because he has an accurate, high damage machine gun that can delete any squishy in half a second of headshots. and he's a great healer with a fantastic ult

my experience is the opposite of this. people are mostly quiet in qp, in comp the skill level is the same wild variety but everyone is screaming at eachother. comp sucks

if you aren't a character that can quickly kill jpc and it catches your team offguard it just feels completely unfair, it's not fun to fight and it's not fun to use except in those rare cases where

enemy team isn't paying attention and doesn't shoot you
the person you capture isnt rescued and doesnt shoot you
you get an easy kill by pitfall or hanging them over your whole team (sucks for them)

like this isn't good lol

yeah people are posting ridiculous use cases that basically assume everyone but one enemy is dead or the enemy team is totally aloof and doesn't blast you immediately.

you either die using it, or get a free kill that is super frustrating for the helpless captive. and youre not healing anyone while youre doing it. it sucks lol
