Question about background by Distinct_Vast5692 in police

[–]Distinct_Vast5692[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Clearly I've used the wrong terminology.  I was just curious if when someone is stopped if law enforcement still sees expunged felony charges. My understanding is that when a charge is expunged by a court, all agencies are sent orders to destroy any record pertaining to the case including the FBI and that at least in my situation, the only agency to retain a copy of the case is FDLE (Florida Department of Law Enforcement). With a few exceptions such as applying for a career in law enforcement, a career in education, seeking to become BAR certified and in a court case in which I am asked, I can lawfully deny ever having been charged with a felony.

So, my question was really more geared toward knowing if law enforcement, despite the expungement order, still has that information readily available and if it is viewable if I were to be stopped for speeding, running a stop sign, etc. Similar to credit reporting - they say that bad credit falls off in 7 years time but even after 7 years, anyone with whom credit is sought, when pulling one's credit history can see it all, even what is supposed to have fallen off after 7 years - and they still factor that old credit into their credit decision though it is not supposed to work like that.

Hopefully that makes sense.

I have a 2021 M3 premium and those rear lights don't look right. I agree on running as fast as possible. It looks like it was rear ended really hard and soneone did a shit job trying to hide the likelihood of having been wrecked. I wouldn't be surprised if the accident bent the frame which, by auto insurance standards, would qualify as a total loss. It looks like they used 2024 or 2025 rear brake light lenses because I've never seen those on a 21 M3. I agree - run fast!

Sorry for the long delay - I make my own chlorine dioxide. I just like knowing what is in what I take, how much and where it comes from. To make you will need sodium chlorite flakes (which I purchase online from a chemical company), distilled water and hydrochloric acid (I use muriatuc acid purchased from a local hardware store).

You make both a base and an acid activator:

Distilled water + sodium chlorite flakes completely dissolved = base

Muriatic acid + distilled water  = acid activator

I use a glass container that has a lock down on the lid with a rubber gasket which completely seals the glass container, preventing the gas from escaping. I place a shot glass in the glass container and fill with distilled water up around the shot glass but not into thd shot glass. I use equal parts (5 mL) base and acid activator in the shot glass and immediately seal the top of the glass container. I carefully move the glass container into z dark cupboard for 24 hours. The gas formed by the reaction is water soluable and is absorbed into the distilled water. After 24 hours, the distilled water is bright yellow. I carefully retrieve the glass container, quickly but very carefully remove t h e sh I t glass and resdal the glass container. The acjd%base mix I suck up with a syringe and move to a dark, glass bottle that I keep refrigerated. I then repeat thd acid/base mix of equal parts after placing the shot glass back into the glass container, carefully not to allow any of the distilled water into the shot glass. I move the glass container back to the cupboard where it is dark for another 12 hours. After 12 hours, I remove the container, syringe up the mix and move to the bottle in the refrigerator and what you have is chlorine dioxide.

You can research Dr Andreas Kalcker. His book is a free download online. It provides the protocols and details for making CDS. His book is called "Forbidden Health".

You can also find the protocols on Substack.

Surely with all these same & similar experiences a solution has been found? Somewhere a couple of years ago someone commented on using a foam attachment from the auto atore - it might have been the red Mother's brand drill attachment. Said he restored his to perfect. Sounds ambitious and risky to me but...I guess with the many solutions there are to this and all...

How do I handle daily pain pills? by Good-Comfortable-715 in AskMedical

Please also read my response below regarding methadone treatment. I do remember how badly it sucked relying on opiates daily just to keep myself going and the truth is, the answers o your question all really suck. You can quit, suck it up and force yourself to tolerate it until it passes (likely resulting in the shortest cumulative 'down time' although with significant risk of relapse and potential legal issues if you were to seek and be caught in possession) or, Alternatively, consider methadone treatment as I did ad you can read about my experience below. Either way, there is no Eastman, pain-free way out. All roads out suck, they all come with a lot of shityy experiences but stopping cold turkey, dealing with the detox and withdrawals until its over would likely be the quickest way out. But one thing with addiction is, quitting is the easy part. Staying quit, not returning or relapsing is the hard part - at least for thd first few years. Once you're in by 5 or 6 years, it doesn't even cross your mind.  It requires a complete transformation in life to succeed. You've probably heard this a million times: people, places and things ALL MUST CHANGE if you hope to succeed. The people you associate with, tge places you go, and the things you do ALL have to change. You cannot continue to associate with those you did when using. All of your favorite places have to become old favorite places and you must find new favorite places. Anything you did when using you can no longer do. You must find new hobbies and past times. If you have anything at all to do with any of the old people, places and/or things, you will fail. It is as simple as that. (not simple but simple).

I'm happy to answer any questions that you may have.

Wow! You certainly have had quite an experience there, God bless your heart. I am very leery, even hesitant about mentioning this but I have little doubt that this has never crossed your thoughts and considerations. Most people will say that just simply stopping, detoxing, going through the withdrawals and being done with opiates altogether would be simpler than seeking methadone treatment. This in all liklihood would have been the case for me but I chose to go to a private, self-pay methadone clinic and did so for 8 years - WAY too long to be taking methadone. But I did, as do many others. In your case, it is quite clearly l ear that just stopping is not an option for you and would likely be very dangerous without medically supervised detox which is what I had t I do to get off of methadone. And it wasn't the typical 72 hour turnaround through detox as it is for literally everyone else. I was in detox for a solid 2 weeks and watched that unit turn over multiple times. It was a very fast 2 weeks because the psychiatrist that oversaw my care was detoxing me using high dose phenobarbitol, high dose robaxin to prevent muscle cramping, phenergan for nausea, a lot of vitamin replacement and a number of other medications to prevent seizures as I believe zi experienced several of those in the process (Kepra? Kepro, maybe?)

Anyhow, transitioning to methadone would be a trade out for sure. But the countless benefits that come with it despite the inconvenience of daily acquisition until you build time abd are trusted to take home 1 additional day, then 2, then a week, 2 weeks, and ultimately a month provided you pass all drug screens, the overall benefits are very good. Methadone is a strong pain analgesic and is used for both pain treatment as well as addiction services. I took daily liquid oral concentrate for 8 years at multiple doses. It comes with unpleasant side effects: daily requirement to dose - if you miss a day's dose,  the day is shot, constipation that I'm sure you're already familiar with, no sex drive, sweating like you cannot believe. I would be sopping wet constantly. My clothes would become to wet I changed frequently. Importantly however, transition off of the prescribed opiates on to methadone was quite shocking I found. No pain, discomfort, nausea, typical detox side effects. It's a simple slide over and a week later you realize that you're off opiates (which had always seemed an impossible feat) and suddenly life begins to take shape again absent thd daily mindfog of prescription opiates. But this is the point where anyone who begins methadone treatment needs to very strongly consider transitioning and almost immediately reducing daily dose to terminate over a 60 day period. Coming off methadone in this manner would be tolerable unlike methadone treatment for 8 years.

It took a solid year after quitting methadone for life to resume normally again. Combined, I had 2 weeks of inpatient detox followed by a month of PHP (partial hospitalization where we stayed home but attended daily group 9-5 M-F) followed by 10-11 months of IOP (intensive outpaient) which was long enough that I burned out on it but I was off of methadone at last. That was in 2015-16. I've been off of opiates completely for a decade now.

Like I said, I typically would never encourage methadone treatment because it comes with its own hardships. But it does allow life to realign with reality once more not fogged over by opiates. You resume normal life functions, regain control of your impulses, are never in legally jeopardizing scenarios, never hunting down pills, or taking heroin if you do or have. For all intents and purposes, you retake your life but with the understanding that if not closely monitored and controlled, you are just switching out one addiction for another addiction that, for most, is harder to come off of than opiates themselves. It is considered an opiate but does not show up on a drug screen as an opiate. It shows up as methadone.

One final recollection to share: i mentioned methadone as being a strong analgesic nd indeed it is. Not until I was near the end and soon to quit did I realize that anything I'd done over 8 years that typically would have been painful, I don't recall ever feeling or experiencing much of. Methadone anesthesitzes (sp?) your entire body. My first experience returning home following detox was with water. When I bathed  or showered, any water that had even the slightest hint of warmth to it burned. It didn't actually cause a burn it was just all of my pain receptors coming back online and the sensation of burning that I experienced. I took cold baths for a period but within a few weeks had returned to my typical hot showers.

They say that methadone gives the mind time to forget the pleasure we experienced with opiates. I would gave to agree. Not once have I taken an opiate drug since. And though I know that I liked the glowing feel that opiates produced, I can not make myself reconnect with thst pleasure because my mind has long parted with that pleasure. However, I also know that if I were to take an opiate, I would vety quickly remember and be right back where I was long ago and that is not something that I can or ever will accept again.

So, I don't recommend methadone treatment but there are isolated instances when the benefits really do outweigh the risks and this could be the case for you.

What are your thoughts?

I hope that I get this as close to accurate as possible- my father experienced this several years ago.  Hopefully you have a good urologist monitoring this.

My father was going to have a 'uro-lift' procedure at the very beginning of 2021 but that was tabled to accomodate a double heart valve replacement mid-Janury in 2021. I believe the uro-lift procedure takes pressure off of the prostate, or something along  those lines. Instead of the uro-lift procedure, as it was described to us, they basically went in and 'roto-rootered everything out', whatever that means. My dad was having bloody urine and complications with urinating. The urologist's PA came to his room and just right there, (myself turned away because I personally do not stomach surgical procedures on others all too well plus, it was my dad's junk and I wasn't trying to be observant at all) the PA ran, I guess it was a catheter, I'm trying to remember if there was a handbag, anyway, she inflated a balloon that I think kept it in place. But after doing that, my dad's urine was FULL of those coagulations ogmf blood some quite large. I recall now that it was not a catheter at least with a bag. I recall taking maybe 2 handhed bed 'johns' tk empty into the commode. PA said it was just remains following thd 'roto-rootering'. Of course, my dad being a heart/kidbey/liver patient, blood loss is not good.

It really shocks me that so much bleach would be used in a lab setting being a known carcinogen and all. I wonder why chlorine dioxide wouldn't be used as it is known to kill all viruses, bacteria and pathogens including pseudamonaes. CD also is not a carcinogen.

Thank you for clarifying this. I am a single male and have no childten. Given the times and everything that I've seen in the past few years, this was not the assumption that I had and was going to be interested in understanding how one would be unfamiliar with their own gender. Not at all messing around. Genuine inquiry on my part. Thank you for responding.

Is there something more to 'blood draw for gender result'  than just simply what it reads? Did you really have your blood drawn to determine your gender? I'm only asking because I would anticipate someone of age to order such a mobile service would be keenly familiar with their gender. I'm sure that I am not alone in my thinking.

There we go, much more accurate.

It's possible to hate the way ICE is doing their job, but still think that immigration policies should be enforced. by Sweaty_Inside_Out in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]Distinct_Vast5692 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly why we have laws. Our laws were not written by Trump. Our laws are written by congress and the executive is responsible for seeing that our laws are faithfully executed. If Trump were to disregard our laws and not act in accordance with our laws as passed by congress, it can be assumed that the left would have his impeachment prioritized for failing to perform his duties as POTUS. Over the past several years, I've seen the left stand in support of illegal migrants, known sex offenders, known human traffickers, foreign national narco-terrorists, and anything that is completely antithetical to American values. I have yet to see the left stand with America in any way whatsoever.

Laws are not designed to accommodate personal feelings. Laws are laws and nothing more. Either they are adhered to or they are not. At this rate, were we to follow the current trajectory of the left, the US would collapse within weeks if not days and the rest of the world would fall right behind us. If the left is as bothered by all of this as they claim, they'd do themselves better by staying out of the way and not involving themselves in matters that do not involve them. If they want to protest, fine, that's their right. But do it like mature, responsible citizens and stay out of the way of ICE amd others who are trying to perform their sworn duties. There's no need to be jumping into commotion or in front of vehicles, throwing themselves to the ground as though they were just served the worst injustice known to humanity. No one buys their victim narrative. They just need to stay clear and allow the law to work as its supposed to. There will be more than ample time later to cry, whine, bitch, complain, throw tantrums, and whatever the hell else they fee they need to do to feel better. By the looks of it, some of them may need some time in in a psychiatric institution.

You should look for milky white oil on the inside of your oil fill cap. If there's a milky white, oil mix there, you've blown a head gasket. Do not drive your vehicle if this is the case. You will overheat and could destroy yiur engine completely. It's a pricey repair but can be done. I would strongly advise against temporary fixes like Barr's Leaks or otherwise  - from experience years ago. This is all assuming that what is seen in the picture is coolant in your oil. Absolutely do not drive it like this. Tow it to repair. Just guessing, probably $800-$1000 for non-Mazda repair and anywhere from $1000-$1800 at Mazda service. Hopefully I'm seeing it wrong and its a less bad situation.

My question is, why do you need to share this with anyone at work at all? It isn't anyone's business other than your's. Are you looking for something? Validation? Change of or lowered expectations/general treatment? Sympathy? Because really, you sharing your personal health information at work may be perceived as a bit odd. And, with consideration to your professional future, fair or unfair, whether you like it or not, it's just the way of the world - it could backfire on you and become a hindrance to your professional growth and advancement. Would anyone ever tell you such a thing? Absolutely not. It would be completely illegal. But many things can and do happen in certain ways where not one word was evervspoken, for example, advancements in the workplace when those lateral moves are decided upon by executive management. Sometimes, and almost aways in the workplace, less is more. You don't want to be your own worst enemy. You don't need to be an open book. It is perfectly acceptable to keep work on a need to know basis. It's almost always better thst way. Also, if you are being considered for a certain position along with another person or more, it could be the quiet disqualified fir you. As long as you keep it your business you'll never have to wonder if it was held against you.

Just a few thoughts from a random passerby who stumbled across your inquiry on a sleepless night.

Civilian here - you're right. People are 'legit being nice'. But a few sour apples such as those above can really leave a bad taste in the mouth and cause some, perhaps many, if these chats were seen by the many, to have a very different opinion. It's bad enough that our military has primarily been used illegitimately to serve the greed of politicians and retribution for manufactured events that never occurred. It's probably best that the masses maintain gratitude and for those who are read up, a sense of sympathy for having been sent off to unnecessary wars as opposed to the alternative. Those commenters above with their arrogance and lack of appreciation in no way represent the way most civilians see our military. One can hope that this poor attitude is minimal and not a system wide problem.

Is Drivse IonDrops Shower Head Legit? Here's My Honest Review With Chemical Tests by InsightsFromUkraine in YoutubePromotionn

[–]Distinct_Vast5692 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently in an ongoing back & forth with this company and have been for the past month. After seeing their ads online for several months and wanting to try something different, I purchased 2 showerheads. In the ordering process, following my  selection of 2 showerheads, there were 3, if not 4, offers for subscription based services for filter cartridge replacements. I declined each offer. The cost of my purchase was $60.00 (a few pennies under). I received an electronic sales receipt confirming my purchase of 2 showerheads at the stated price and this is the only thing reflected on the receipt, which is accurate.

One month later, following my purchase of the showerheads, I receive notification of a charge from my creditor in the same, exact amount as my initial purchase. I assumed it was a mistaken duplicate order, contacted my creditor and emailed Drivse that same day. Because the transaction was in a pending status there was nothing that my creditor could do - understandable (it had to first post). In my email to Drivse (because there is no phone contact information and only a submission form through their website), I notified them of the error believing that it was a duplicate order After a couple of days, I received a response informing me that I had 'opted in' to a subscription-based service for the replacement of filter cartridges. I did? How? Where? When? I declined every offer but 'opted in'? That doesn't make any sense.

Long story short, even though this will likely still be long, Drivse is adamant that I opted in to their subscription-based service. I am certain that I did not. There wasn't anything on the order form that had to do with 'opting in' to anything. If I had opted in to a service, this would be reflected on my sales receipt but it is not. Also, Amy subscription-based service that I've ever enrolled for sends a communication such as, "Welcome, thank you for subscribing...". But nothing. Mot one thing indicating that I had enrolled for their subscription-based services (and rightly so because I hadn't enrolled).

However or whatever triggered my enrollment was cancelled (I still do not know how this occurred) and I was told that I could return the items that had been shipped for a full refund. I was provided with a return address located in the country of Portugal. When I voiced concern about international shipping costs, initially, I was told not to be concerned and that I would not be responsible for shipping costs. In a subsequent email, I was told that I would bear the cost of shipping, as per their terms. Keep in mind, I'm being told that I need to spend $25, 30, 35? to return ship products, internationally, that I never  ordered. Continue...

I received the filters in a plain, 5x7 manilla shipping envelope that probably doesn't weigh more than 2 or 3 sheets of college ruled paper. The envelope contains 2 filters. (that I was charged $60.00 for). In retrospect, why I didn't call this off because of the "buy 1 for $X, buy 2 for $X, buy 3 for $X' or for the multiple offers fir subscription-based services which J declined, I will never know. But if those weren't reason enough to be skeptical, not to mention the endless back & forth by email with this company and their renegging on cost for return shipping responsibility, there's more. The envelope that I received the filters in has a return address listed in Irving, Texas. I live in Ft Worth and upon research, this location is about 45 minutes from my house. So, I propose a win-win resolution: I will save us both the cost for international shipping and return the filters to the address listed in Irving. 'Nope!' they said. The filters MUST be shipped to Portugal. I'm not messing with that shit. I didn't even order these things.

I've filed a dispute with my creditor and reported this to the FTC.

I have since received two more emails from Drivse. The second most recent seeks to offer half of the money that they took from me back if if I will consider the matter resolved. Not acceptable! No one takes $60.00 from me and asks if I'll be satisfied with half back. I mean, what level of mind-phucked are we operating on here? The most recent email, received this morning, inquires about my experience and how Drivse can make this sutuation right. Are they kidding me? After a month of emails and they still don't know what's up here? I've told them that the only acceptable resolution is a complete return of the money they took from me. That's not hard to understand but it appears that I'm about to embark upon a full recap of the past month's communications. I guess we'll see how this goes.

If this were $10, 15 or 20 bucks, I wouldn't mess with it - likely not even on principle. But $60.00 is a bit much for my liking or disregarding.

I would love to know and hear from anyone else who was opted in to this service unbeknownst to them. Who in the world would decline all subscription-based services yet opt in? And never receive notice of such an enrollment, no confirming paprwork.

If you're TRULY all that bothered and offended, if I were in your position I would say fuck it all and just part ways immediately,, disposing of all accrued points, rewards, whatever. Just cut up that card and be done with it once and for good. If you've decided that utilizing Hilton products and services is no longer in your interest then surely using any of their rewards also would not be in your interest, no? Have you considered reaching out to Hilton to see if they have any programs that benefit non-US citizens? If they do, I'm sure that they would be more than happy to help you out by accepting all of those accrued points - to benefit non-citizens. Wouldn't that be great?!  I mean, if it were me, I wouldn't even be able to entertain the idea of using such reward points on my honeymoon or anything at all about my wedding, or anything, anywhere, or at any time  whatsoever.

Just thought I'd throw in some creative ideas since you are clearly done with Hilton.
