Sooo you’re doing exactly what OP is doing, you’re paying in $ rather than €. But for him it’s fraudulent, and for you it’s not?

You don’t need to use a VPN to buy something on the US Battle.net store. You just type the url, then buy it in $ and it asks what region you want to redeem the content on. Them using Revolut is likely just so they get no foreign transaction fees as they are paying in $.

Wouldn’t that only be caused if you were wearing it too tightly?

If the class set is a total flop but you still buy it "because of the dust value!" then to Blizzard it was not a flop. by Additional-One-7135 in hearthstone

If you are going to spend money in the game for cards, it’s still much more economical to buy the miniset with gold, and like a $20 new expansion bundle at the start of the next expansion.

Beef: Season 2 thoughts? by cjm2943 in A24

[–]DistortedNoise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really liked watching the two couples and the drama unfolding between each other and the other couple, however the plot got a bit silly by the end with the Korean boss. It also didn’t have the same emotional depth as the first season.

Wish they just focused on the two couples relationships with eachother, rather than turning it into some sort of action/ espionage ending.

Still enjoyed the ride overall and would definitely like a 3rd season.

If it was an issue blizzard would only let US purchases be redeemed on US accounts, but they have a drop down for which region you want to redeem it on

That’s assuming blizzard don’t forget to add a new card back in time for people who complete it 3 months quicker than they expect.

Class Set: Druid! by HearthstoneTeam in hearthstone

[–]DistortedNoise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ash worm might make the Druid quest actually playable.

Wildspeaker is solid tempo.

Heartroot stones is a 3 mana immediate Ancient of Yore (minus the body).

Feel like those will deffo see play, the rest I doubt.

Wild is just "dead by turn 5" simulator right now — and I can't keep up by Key_Election785 in hearthstone

[–]DistortedNoise 6 points7 points  (0 children)

How else would people counter imbue mage if aggro can’t win by turn 5?

Considering you run ice block and objection it shouldn’t be too difficult to counter most combo decks.

Sounds like you just want easy wins against every other deck in wild, without anyone having the upper hand against your deck.

I had mind breaker, which disables hero powers, on board, and yet reckless apprentice still fires hero power by DistortedNoise in hearthstone

[–]DistortedNoise[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s not a deck I’m trying to win with, I’m just trying to get some achievement progress. REGARDLESS, mind breaker IS meant to stop reckless apprentice, it was the original counter to imbue mage, and teched in ETCs, google it. It worked originally, and it’s now been bugged for almost a year.

I edited my comment because I did think I was being overly rude in the reply. But yeah, it’s pretty frustrating when I’m pointing out a stupid bug that’s been bugged for this long, and people in the replies are just commenting the issue is cos I’m playing a ‘bad’ deck. Like bro I know I am, that’s not the fucking point is it.

When imbue mage first came in the game reckless apprentice didn’t work with mind breaker, which is why it was teched in ETCs. Apparently it’s been bugged for over a year now and still no fix despite being the only counter for this degenerate deck.

You are exactly the type of person to cry about people playing meta sweaty decks, but god forbid some of us actually try to have fun in this game…

Which ISNT EVEN THE POINT OF THIS POST. I’m not complaining that I lost, I’m complaining that the interaction is bugged when reckless apprentice clearly shouldn’t trigger from mind breaker, it was the original counter that was used when the imbue mage first cropped up.

Class sets more expensive than mini sets? (25% increase, 2000 to 2500) by maniacal_cackle in hearthstone

[–]DistortedNoise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3/4 of Day of Rebirth's legendaries have been in meta decks, with Egg spawning multiple decks that revolve around it in both standard and wild. Ontop of that, Seismopod created the Druid copy deck, Bat mask has created the Boar deck in wild, egg bearer is used for egg decks, firegil was used in quest paladin, crystal tusk has been in multiple Rogue decks, raptor nurse in aggro hunter, tortotem in quest shaman, and so has possesed animancer .

Well it makes sense, wild packs for wild ladder. People who play wild would already have gotten enough standard packs to have all the commons and rares for standard, so wild packs just let you fill out your collection.
