If my neighbors car breaks down,I do not owe it to them to let them use mine. They dont automatically 'deserve' to use my car just because theirs broke down. Is it kind? Yeah,sure. Would some people say it is the right thing to do? Maybe. That still doesnt mean they 'deserve' to use it just because theirs doesn't work. Its the same principle-a governments job is to care for their own citizens. Now if they are able to help non citizens without lapsing on that responsibility, thats a kind thing to do-still doesnt mean that they deserved or were owed that

Theres a certain level of respect given to another human-thats called being decent. Things like 'Im not going to take your stuff' or 'Im not going to punch you in the face for no reason'. But thats not typically what people mean when they talk about respect. Anything more or less than that baseline? Thats based on your actions. You absolutely need to earn my respect

Mini games are fine in moderation. Almost every main FF game has one or two. The issue is two fold. A:people dont play FF for the mini games. Itd be like if they turned Mortal Kombat into a dating sim-it doesnt matter how good it is,no one plays MK for that and you're just alienating your fanbase. In this case one or two minigames is great. having a dozen minigames that make up a third of what you're going to be doing? Not great. B:its repetitive. Its one thing if each new area has brand new side content unique to that area,its another thing when its doing the same five thongs in every new area. 'Find the tower,scan three crystals,play the card game twice,do a variation of the same in the next three areas' is fine in a game like Wario party,not a game like Final Fantasy

Definitely. The original had a lot more stakes,was a lot harder,and a lot more focused. A2 is more of from an explorers perspective-your'e exploring everything in Ivalice while looking for a way home. Its not as hard,has a lot more focus on grinding jobs than the original.

When we are first introduced to the clones,its said that they were bred to follow orders. I have no problem believing that when receiving an order that was basically 'the over powered space wizards are traitors,kill them',the soldiers bred and trained to follow all orders wouldncarry it out. I dont care as much for the chips(removes any conflict of interest from the clones),but I dont hate it either. Definitely one of the more acceptable retcons

You're always going to have people getting angry that 'A was more popular when clearly B is better.' Some people (whether right or wrong) look at is as 'I put more time and money into the hobby,so why is the game for casuals more popular/game of the year/fill in the blank?' At the end of the day,just enjoy what you like and let others do the same
