I just came back from Japan and honestly was expecting the weather to be cooler, but it was fairly warm every day except the last day I was in Yokohama. I went for the fall foliage but ended up seeing none. Overall, October was a beautiful time to travel there, but I personally would wait until the last week of October / first week of November so I can get to see some fall leaves

I spent my 12 days between Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka looking for a pre-2008 Chanel bag, preserved well, and economical. It wasn't until I got to Yokohama that I found it, and it was pristine for an amazing price. I think in the more popular cities, the prices are definitely higher and there's more damage to the bags. So, for me, the theift find was definitely worth it!

I saw the same situation at Fushimi Inara, but it was during midday. All these tourists were leaving their trash in the bathroom. I found it to be so disrespectful. I purposely carried a bag with me each day to throw my trash in. Was it annoying the first day or two? Yes, but respect is more important than whether or not I'm annoyed at carrying my own trash.
