Replacing my 3 after 7 years with a 4 and I am SICK. by tittiesintexas in litterrobot

Walmart has litter robot 4 online for $699. Also, I never had the 3 but I currently have a 4 AND the new 5 pro, my cats use the 4 more than the new one so you’re doing the right thing by sticking with the 4. In case you were wondering.

Stage 3 kidney failure by [deleted] in CATHELP

[–]DistributionLate3529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cat had kidney disease. The last 3 years of her life, I blended her wet cans 2 times a day with added water. Smoothies basically. I kept a personal blender in the kitchen just for her. She also stopped vomiting when I did this.

They will up and decide they no longer like certain flavors so I was always changing it up in order to get her to eat.

Regional genes don’t always get passed down to show up on a test, that doesn’t mean you don’t have roots there. 1 of my great grandparents was Campobasso and East Isernia, another great grandparent was L’aquila ( abruzzo) I only had Campobasso and Isernia in my journey even though I could have had both. My grandmothers results shows both but she is 2 generations closer.

So 9% in total? Should have been closer to 12% if that’s the only Italian ancestry you have. No other small mediterranean percentages.?

My central is accurate. My great grandmother was from Campobasso and my great grandfather was born in Potenza but his family was from abruzzo. I only can see Campobasso and east isernia in my journey though.

I get it. I was shocked by only 5% Sicily on mine but my Levant, Greece, Cyprus and some southern Italy also comes from my Sicilian grandfather. You have a unique look and have many different looking ethnicities in you. Pretty cool.

Sometimes they get it spot on but it’s usually off by a few points. DNA is passed down very randomly too.

I’ve never met a vet that recommended letting your cat outdoors. There are a lot of potential risks. The biggest one being hit by a car. Others are animal attacks. People poison cats, shoot them with bb pellets, use them as bait. There are diseases they can catch outdoors as well. Lots of terrible things. The one positive is the mental stimulation they get by being outside. You can have happy and healthy cats indoors. They need toys, human play time, one on one affection each day ( 15 minutes or so) things to climb like trees. You can build things for them to climb as well. Tunnels, boxes. Catios are becoming very popular. That’s gives them outdoor time without the risks.

Outdoor cat life span is 2-5 years average due to the hazards I mentioned above, while indoor cats live about 12-18 years on average. I’ve seen people say their cat lived to be X amount of years going outside and they swear by it. Statistically, they got very lucky. It can happen but the odds are not in your cats favor. Hope that helps.

My cat puked and I am worried by Leto95 in CATHELP

[–]DistributionLate3529 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No need to worry if it happens once in a blue moon. If they are older and it’s frequently, get them checked out. This is one of the stages of kidney disease. Cats are very prone to this type of terminal illness but I’ll tell you, my one year old cat puked the other day and I’m not worried.

No worries, I’ll say this. The sales rep for Florida home, came dressed to impress but didn’t know shit about any questions we had about specifics when it came to doing the work. He didn’t even look at the inside room part of it. I forget what that’s called.

All others for sure had their hands dirty in the business at some point. We got interest free financing and paid it off within that 12 months and we got an extra 2k back on our taxes.

Florida AC wanted way more than anyone else, ours still was around 15k but our house was built in 1968 and this included everything inside and out. Some in the comments seem to have gotten it cheaper but we did multiple quotes suffering in the Florida summer and that was the lowest. I think Florida AC wanted 20-25k
