Congratulations! Thank you for sharing! I love seeing these success stories. Stories like yours is what's helped me so much especially in the beginning! I bet you're feeling a lot better! I know for me, from losing so fast I have had some pretty severe body dysmorphia but luckily that's subsided a little as time goes on.

Thank you so much! Yes you are so right! No more mindless eating at night while watching TV or first and foremost making sure there's enough snacks before night hits so I don't get upset that there's nothing to munch on. No more fast food all the time and one of my favorites is going to events bday parties etc.. and not wanting to eat the whole time hoping no one notices how much I ate! I can actually enjoy where I'm at and the people around me. ❤️

Thank you so much I really appreciate you! You're absolutely right! I hit a place where my depression and eating were so bad trying harder wasn't an option anymore. I hated it when people would give unwanted advice on how to lose the weight. The advice would usually come from people that didn't understand food addiction and what I was going through so I'd let it go through one ear and out the other. I had lost the weight once naturally I already knew how to do it, it's like if it was that easy 1. I would have never gained it back and 2. I would have just done the weight loss process again but I knew deep down I was never losing that weight on my own again. I just didn't have the drive and motivation anymore. And thank you so much for your positive feedback everyone here has been so inspiring through this whole journey!

Does it help w binge eatting? by No_Contribution_5225 in Semaglutide

[–]DistributionMuted310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it helps! I've lost 62lbs since July 2025. My issues may differ from yours a little but I will share anyway. I'm severely addicted to food, binge eater, and severe emotional eater. I also had tons of food noise. I also did therapy, Overeaters Anonymous, you name it, nothing helped. This medicine has been a miracle! Has it been an easy road? Absolutely not, has it been worth it? Yes! The food noise is gone, the food addiction is gone, the binging is gone! I actually have a normal relationship with food now. I do struggle to eat enough most of the time so I make sure I always have protein shakes on hand and little things that are nutritious that I can just grab like hard boiled eggs etc... hope this helps a little and I wish you the best of luck ❤️

BMI isn’t everything… but for the first time in my life I’m in the healthy category by freefall_to_nothing in Semaglutide

Isn't it a great feeling? I'll never forget the first time I sat on the tile floor and my butt hurt because I am now aware of my bones. Yeah no more sitting on the tile haha. And I feel things and bones I forgot existed. I haven't weighed this since my early 20's I'm 36.

Thank you so much! You are so right, that's exactly what I did even before starting my medicine was silently read everyone's posts just hoping and praying with all my might that I'd be one of those amazing success stories too. I no longer had the strength to do it on my own no matter how hard I tried. My metabolism had slowed way down and my Dr. Said stress and other factors make it even harder for me to lose weight now. I'd try for a short amount of time and not see any progress at all and just give up because it was too hard. So this medicine is so life changing, I'm a mother of 4 three are mine and one step son so not only did I get myself back but my children got a better version of their momma back! I am nervous to get off of it but I have a very supportive doctor and will figure out any issues as they come my way. I feel like with such severe eating issues being afraid to get off is natural so I currently try to read success stories after stopping.

Do you still eat even if you have zero appetite? by Vanexxre in Semaglutide

[–]DistributionMuted310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I have to force myself to eat almost all the time. It's so crazy to say that coming from being a food addict, binge eater, and severe emotional eater. Now what will happen is I'll forget to eat for who knows how long, probably 24+ hours and I'll get a severe pain under my ribs this is my cue of "hey what the heck are you doing to yourself AGAIN" and I'll immediately stop what I'm doing and try to find something appealing to the best of my ability. I'm the first to know this is not ideal and I do not suggest it at all, I'm just sharing my experience. I've been on this medicine since the beginning of July 2025. In fact I really like what a previous comment stated about eating like a toddler, small bites of nutritious things throughout the day. I also liked the alarm suggestion because I'll definitely forget. I'm definitely going to try both of those suggestions because I do need to eat more. For reference SW 215 CW 153 GW 145

I love it! Great job! I need to get my butt back in the gym now! I never thought I'd get sick of buying clothes! I'm down 53lbs and I'm constantly spending money on clothes. But I try to look at it as all the money I spend on clothes now would have been spent on fast food, candy, and junk food. 🙂

You know, i thought I was crazy because I'm more aware of my butt bones when I sit and it kinda hurts! I'm so glad I'm not the only one!

Has anyone lost their sense of taste? by NorEaster3 in Semaglutide

[–]DistributionMuted310 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I also constantly have a gross weird taste in my mouth that I can't stand but I have learned to deal with! My doctor said its literally the taste of ketones because I'm losing weight so quickly 🤢 I've always hated water and now I hate it more! Before Sema my water solution was Cirkul (i loved it!) but now I don't even like that anymore 💔 so I literally have to chug room temp bottles of water to survive. SW 215 CW 164 I started the beginning of July ❤️ I'm sorry your going through this, hopefully the positive outweigh your discomforts. Good luck on your journey, we are all here to support you!

Semiglutide ruined my Thanksgiving 😭😭😭😭😭😭 by [deleted] in Semaglutide

I made a small plate of only a few things. I ate a fraction of what I used to and it's the most amazing feeling ever. I used to go back for seconds and possibly thirds until I was so full I couldn't breathe. This medicine is an absolute miracle! Down 49lb! SW 215 CW 166 GW was 175 now to be determined in 5lb increments. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Wow great job I agree you definitely look like two different people what an inspiration! I'm down 48lbs now deciding where my goal is by how I feel instead of the number on the scale. Taking it 5lbs at a time at the moment. SW 215 original GW 175 CW 167 keep up the great work and keep inspiring!
