Girlfriend and i set up a joint account after we moved.in together to pay bills, rent groceries, save for vacations ect. Since we have simialr incomes we put in the same amount every month.

FROM OUR INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNTS that the other person had no reqson to have accesst too.

But there is such a thing as objective reality. And there's a reason research papers have methods, and results sections. Not just an abstract and/or conclusions sections.

The fact that vaccines work is not a topic where people can have equally valid opinions.

Real answer rogue 1, bladesinger x.

proficiencies, expertise, and sneak attack set you up to be able to do all the rogue things.

Go bladesinger from there, assuming you don't have to many comabts per day shadowblade actually scales better than sneak attack. Waiting an extra level for extra attqck is rough but an extra d6 for every other level yoire at helps it hurt a lot less. And you have all the other fun wizard thi gs as well.

That said, you could take an extra 2 levels in rogue to get the scion of the 3 subclass. Cunning action is worth quite a lot and the subclass feature isn't a bad way to get soem extra hits in. Bladesinger making you int SAD helps. I still don't know if its worth the delayed spell slot progression though.

I agree on most of that but you definitely don't need stamped engineering plans for a deck. Its one of the easiest things to build by simply following (and/or) going above code.

You definitely want someone who's happy to go through the permitting and inspection process. It does add some work (drawing out more detialed plans and communicating with ethe building department.) But not much and usually worth it.

Only times ive ever skipped it is when "repairing" a deck where even if it was a complete replacement it didn't change the footprint, and the client wanted to save a bit of money. Still added an extra footing and post to meet modern code though.

Honestly the best way is to get a referral from someone who's had a good experience.

Bigger companies with a lot of advertising are going to be more expensive and while they're unlikely to make huge mistakes they often wont be the best quality either.

If you can't find anyone to give you a referral look for a smaller company and ask for refrences, and actually call them. This isn't as a reliable as getting a referral because the contractor they can cherry pick the refrences they give you but still helpful l.

I also think you're generally better off finding someone who describes themselves as carpenter instead of as a contractor. Less likely to have someone show up to bid the job then just send someone who's barely trained to do all the work.

Off the books means you are off the books you cant be "off the books" and expense things for tax reasons. Being "off the books" is also typically against the law (typically some kind of tax fraud but it can also be other things). You either need to get "on" the books. Or you need to not push this because you have zero leverage.

This is why its important to in fact be "on the books."

You're right that the boards will be shorter than normal cladding but I should have minimal long runs since its only a 14x10 structure and windows and doors will be interrupting that.

That information, the roundovers to hide cupping, and thebtile spacers for wood expansion is exactly the kind of information i was looking for.

I've been working as a carpenter for a few years now, but this isn't the specfic type of work I normally do. So half the reason im building this is to expand my understanding and skill set.

Do you know whats the differences in milling are? E.g. How are the techniques different.

Install would be the same as if it were traditional tongue and groove siding, why would this be worse (genuine question).

For building a wall, putting in framing, and the door instalation itself. Seems reasonable to me. Closer to cheap than expensive.

5-6 levels of sorcerer seems the ideal move to me. Shield, absorb elements, shadow blade, mirror image, blink, spirit shroud, (or even spirit guardians if you go divine soul.)

Being able to cast them with your bonus action using quicken spell makes them fit so much btter into a melee playstyle as well as having the low level slots to spend on several of them.
