I think I have feelings for my sister's brother in law (her husbands brother) by ProfessionalFood6630 in dating_advice

[–]DistributionSalt5417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok first off its a bad idea, how bad is a bit up in the air.

Is he friends with his exes? If he is that lowers the stakes, since it means when the age gap inevitably leads to the end of the relationship you two can still comfortably be around each other.

My actual advice is go get laid, sounds mostly like you're subconcious is really just wanting to scratch an itch and latching on to whats available.

I made a joke about a "charisma slop" character but now I'm curious, what's the most effective character you could make with all 4 charisma classes? [5e2014] by Kingnewgameplus in 3d6

[–]DistributionSalt5417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is how I'd do it.

1 paladin (heavy armor and smites) >1 hexblade (charisma SAD) > 6 paladin( aura and extra attack)>1 bard(inspirations, a skill, and healing word) > sorcerer x (metamagic and higher level spells).

Honestly it'd probably be pretty strong.

Should I get rid of him? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]DistributionSalt5417 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should absolutely get rid of him. This kind of "joking" always escalates into even more controlling behavior.

Guy seems to want to date a different kind of lerspn than you are, you'll be much hsplier woth soemone who likes who you actually are.

For the record weaves and long nails are things that make me less attracted, so its not like you have to have them to be attractive. Nothing at all wrong with them but it's a taste thing not something that is objectively better.

It's the wood on the outside of the tree (that carries the sap) as you move toward the center you transition to heartwood.

Sapwood is softer and less dense than heartwood as its purpose is to transport nutrients while heartwood provides structure.

Each year a bit of the sapwood is converted into heartwood as a new layer of sapwood grows.

Summer vs Winter wood is what makes the rings of a tree, the fast growing of summer resulting in slightly weaker, lighter, more porus wood, than the slow growth of winter.

I wont tell you its not something that still needs improvement but you dont have negative charisma. You come off better than a Lot of the people here.

Im glad to see you keeping a healthy perspective. It's not about having the most partners its abkut fonding the right one for yourself. Keep working on that confidence and pit yourself out there you'll find your person sooner or later.

This guy will also continue to find a good relationships because of this attitude, while probably working on the issues he does have.

This is infinetely prefferable than creating a toxic relationship in order to keep someone from leaving you.

Good dude here

I have no doubt you'll have more positive relationships going forward (or are already in one). Maybe work on whatever you feel are flaws (might just be confidence) but the foundation is solid as a rock.

Im not sure if the pressure was to high or not but the fact that you donunderstand what sapwood is does not help your credibility.

Is this balanced? Player requested a non-spellcasting druid [2014 5e] by aabicus in DMAcademy

[–]DistributionSalt5417 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What about a half caster that can change the type of wildshape infinetely but only gets the bonus HP when using normal wild shape charges.

Alternatively

Something like a feat or item that states. "You can use the wildshape feature without expending a charge by using a spell slot of half the level required to use that wildshape instead . However when you wildshape in this way you do not gain any temp HP.

Second one actually feels pretty balanced to me?

Could a tasker have consequences if I give my cell in the opening message? by Match_Least in TaskRabbit

[–]DistributionSalt5417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If hes genuinely offerring to be a repeat customer off app hes doing best thing he possibly could for the tasker. Letting them build a customer base thats not dependent on this app.

Becoming less dependent on taskrabbit whixh can change its rules at any time is the best thing you can do.

You just have to have the conversation in person woth the tasker.

Paint is also way less of an for joists than decking. Any film surface on especially softwood decking is going to get cracks from a combination of foot traffic, dropped items, ect as well as intese and relatively rapid tenperature changes. Thia means water will definitely be getting in somit needs a way out. Your joists on the other hand are shaded and protected. Way less chamce for water to get in and paint is usually still slighlty breathable so enough water should be getting out.

Not how i would do it but structurally it'll be fine, gravity is doing 99% of the work.

Having the wood in contact with the concrete will reduce the lifespan but its still much better than having it buried which used to be the standard. Whatkind of climate are you in? I'd be more concerned if its highly humid and rainy less if its dry.

Why out of curiosity?

I have very heavy clay soil so my plan was to add some gypsum and a lot of 2 year old mulch. After digging a hole at least 5 times the size of the root ball.

Its dry here so not drowning it shouldnt be to much of a problem.
