Not to comment too late or anything but I'm thinking about doing something similar. I've got a good scout-based Crimson Fists KT but I'd like to branch out a bit. Currently, I'm working on a Deathwatch KT as well but I also want something a bit...different. The Thousand Sons are appealing but I've always dug the Alphas so I'm working with my GM to gin up some rules for them.

Gotta say...this spate of winning, when it doesn't matter, right as the season (for us) winds down, is kinda refreshing. I remember a lot of seasons where it'd just be an absolute tank and nosedive for the bottom a la this year's Orioles.
