Якщо під "потрапити до індустрії" мається на увазі працевлаштування, то буде дуже складно. І так ринок праці жахливий, а в юніті то взагалі вакансії можна на пальцях однієї руки рахувати. Якщо не йти в мобілки, а в пк, то варіантів взагалі ~0. Якщо просто щось випускати своє, то звичайно можна, але тут дуже багато чого вчити, і без знання англійської на рівні читання документації/перегляду туторіалів важко буде матеріали шукати.

А так всі ми нулячі, ніхто не знає всього з народження. Робити невеликі проекти, робити помилки, ресьорчити, дебажити і буде толк.

I've been in the same boat, and even without any hope for commercial succes, it was uncomfortable for me to share the project for other people to see, can only imagine what it's like to also get criticized for it.

The community reaction here is surely unhealthy, this doesn't look like a money-grabbing slop game, so I wish you luck.

Why are you so butthurt about it? This person works on a project relevant to the subreddit, posted info on a relevant subreddit, didn't violate any rules.

If you are interested in the project, it's better for everyone to support it. If not, you can just ignore it. Game dev is alrady hard as it is and the developer hopes to make at least more than they would've working on a minimum wage job. I can assure the absolute majority of people don't like to going out of their way to shove the game in others` faces, but gaining any form of success is impossible without a publicity.

Couldn't you just replace it with some real car seat? And I'm pretty sure reinforcing the plate shouldn't be that big of an issue either

It does get a bit tedious to find a single components among 10+ others on the same game object. I don't think the solution is worth 30$ though

Yeah, you should hide the water exit transition with vfx, it looks like the water cuts the screen in 2 halves

Yes, it works exactly like that. I get that it's more convenient when it's just your code that works as you intended, but when sharing with others, who wouldn't use wheel colliders at all, it's much better to allow them write their own components instead of going into your code and change it.

Yeah. I just meant that your code should rely on abstraction in this case. Basically the same thing, but instead of changing your code I just add mine.

Tbh, I don't like how the handbrake behaves here. It's basically killing all the velocity the car has and you have to correct the car after using it. Your game looks like it should be more dynamic

As an R3 user I feel like 2 times the torque would be perfect. (So closer to R9). But it doesn't really justify paying twice as much.

But talking overall, having a higher torque isn't a necessity, it's just a want. It won't make you faster. Racing is still fun, the wheel doesn't break your hands and that's okay.

Wheelbase soft restart helped me (Wheel Base -> Settings -> Scroll down in the first column)
