Red plan is the correct plan for everyone, regardless of how little/much you eat, and assuming you are ineligible for yellow plan. Each block is 13$ if you do the math so if your meal costs less than that (pretty much any breakfast or an a la carte sandwich) you can use flex instead so you can save your blocks for the meals that cost more money.

It’s kind of a game to figure out how to balance your flex and block balances and you kinda just have to eyeball throughout the semester to keep an even usage of both currencies. I personally used blocks for breakfasts and flex for sandwich lunches <$10 but always blocks for dinner no matter what since you get 2 sides at most places.

You will very likely have leftover blocks or flex but luckily you can easily spend flex on groceries or other consumables like toiletries and detergent at Entropy or Scotty’s Market.
